Neo Invitational

This looks a bit interesting, http://www.neoinvitational.org/ - same place that the "proline" rallyX race was held earlier this year. Its for 8th buggys and "truggys" only. The place looks great though.
Who's going ? I know its those horrible smelly nitro things, but still looks ok, and even neil cragg is on the list!.

I might have a "truggy" by then so might be going. But how cool would it be to have a 10th electric race in there ? Whos up for an "oOple Invitational" then ? :p

Southwell 23-06-2006 11:35 AM

David Spashett's racing :O

Chris Doughty 23-06-2006 11:37 AM

it does look like it would be an amazing event, I don't think I would get in though, I would guess is mega over subscribed.

it would be nice if I had the Losi 8ight car to run then.

jimmy 23-06-2006 12:46 PM

Apart from the invited drivers, I dont think anyone is "in" yet.. so theoretically there are 141 spaces left at the moment. Chap who is writing the booking in form showed me a preview last night, so im pretty sure there are spaces!

Someone sending you a 8ight chris ? :)

Chris Doughty 23-06-2006 01:42 PM

who knows, I would like one. I have all the engines and everything sitting here, nice shiney LRP ones.

wouter.z 23-06-2006 03:26 PM

well ive been a spectator at the last neo race in belgium, and it was a nice event although it was nitro. I didnt like the noice and the smell of those nitro engines.

So jimmy when is the Oople invitational :-)

nick oliver 23-06-2006 07:36 PM

jimmy 06-07-2006 09:11 AM

I sense that went over your head graham. :p

Its nitro 8th and truck only. - They should do a 10th scale race there though, it looks great.

Oscar 06-07-2006 09:20 AM

Oh Yeah, Erm if I'm going I'd need to borrow a PT also. Thats if I dont sell the Hyper first:rolleyes:
I actually Jet-washed last Decembers mud off it yesterday :o

jimmy 06-07-2006 10:16 AM

its a 3 day job, which puts me off a bit, but the track looks great so should be a real laugh. Hopefully there will be camping available. Just have to decide wether im goin or not

emzy 06-07-2006 10:37 AM

Camping... in December...?! Brave soul. Don't you remember the temperatures of Kiddy...?

jimmy 06-07-2006 10:40 AM

emzy 06-07-2006 10:45 AM

emzy 06-07-2006 10:50 AM

Sorry :( I didn't mean to. I might hitch a ride if you go, just for the crack.

I'm sure I could find someone I knew who goes to Harper Adams Uni...

jimmy 06-07-2006 10:53 AM

what, a farmer ?

craggy is going, uhm, probably a couple of others we know.

3 days tho, crazy.

emzy 06-07-2006 10:56 AM

Like a mini Euros. But in England, in December, without a pool, in a farming college full of wannabe farmers.

Sounds class. Anyone fancy lending me one of those THINGS? ;)

jimmy 06-07-2006 11:03 AM

You mean a big wheeled thing ? must be someone mad enough

emzy 06-07-2006 11:05 AM

Actually no... they're a bit too smelly and nitro-y for me to want to be near. Unless I acquire a full pit bitch too...

jimmy 06-07-2006 11:29 AM

we need an oOple-Invitational there for the proper stuff, leccy buggys.

Northy 06-07-2006 11:43 AM

If someone wants to lend me one I'm mad enough to run it! :D

Chris Doughty 14-07-2006 06:40 AM

I hope to have a Losi 8 to use for the event.

this is unconfirmed, but The Drake should be over for it, and possibly Travis too!

BenG 14-07-2006 06:44 AM

How about an oOple track?:D We can get grants from
The national loteery
