Drivers wanted for 2011/2012
Hi guys,
Just want to ask if anyone out there woudl like to be a part of the AR team for the rest of this year and for next year? Yes we did start off with RTR cars but now we have got a great package! We have a top line 4wd. A mid motor and a new 2wd car coming next year. We also have a TOP 1/8th Nitro car which I ran at the NEO and managed to end up in the 1/16th finals the first time with a Nitro car. Its not all me! New ESC's coming. New batteries coming. New motors coming. We have BlueBird servo's. To put it blunt, we have everthing you need! Oils, Glue's, rubber table mats, Gazeebo's coming soon. Clothing. Chargers. We have everything. All from one Manufacture. In the UK, you can even get tyres from a UK manufacture:eh?: What we what (Ansmann) is a team to be contenders with the likes of AE/Losi/Schumacher/Durango and we have to race at all the big meetings so we can show them that we can be as good if not better. Wouldnt it be nice to make one phone call and order everything you need. Instead of ringing several different sponsors to receive the things you need to race. If you are interested, please send me a PM and we can see what we can do. I am only putting this on here for the UK but if anybody else around the World is reading then I can put you in the correct place for the country you are. Thanks Stu Wood ( AR Team Manager UK ):woot: |

I have already got a B Ansmann drive through my shop. Wish I could afford to do the big meetings as I love racing with my ansmanns.
Had a good B Final with my X4TE yesterday and that is with minimal running so the cars are very good. Put me down Stu but I won't be able to get to nationals at least for a few years but I would do my best for the Team wherever I am racing  Rob Jaques |
WOW! I have so many PM's.
It will take me ages to go through them and get back to you all, so please be patient with me. Thank you very much for everybody who has already sent details and please do not stop them coming. |
I've send you a Pm, but i'm race in France.
Please give some information about the new 2Wd  |
It will be nice if it´s like Losi 22, rear and mid in the same package ĦĦĦ

Ansmann
I assume you may be the Stuart Wood I used to race against at Goshen many years ago. I have been driving 1/8th since beginning of this year and am looking to go back into 1/10 in the next week or so. Dependant on calenders I am doing both National series next year, hopefully NW regional in 1/10 this year and whatever meets would be needed and car development on a daily basis in addition to the meetings.
Basically had my kids and now have the time do do what I couldn't years ago. Steve Compton |

This is great stuff :)..
Good luck to everyone applying. Maybe next year I'll have practiced enough to apply for the team :) J |
Hi Guys,
I have not forgot anyone and I was just letting you all know that I have had lots and lots of interest and I am finding it hard to get through all of them. So we have come with a great item! We are thinking of a Ansmann's Got Talent day! We are thinking of having a day at a club in the South of the country and a day in the North of the country. Who ever is interested in becoming part of the AR Team, comes along with there own cars and we hold a race meeting. This is going to be for all drivers as we want up and coming drivers too and also drivers with potential (not just the best drivers). Me and my Boss (Shaun Collins) will then walk around and have a chat with people and we will decide who will become part of the NEW Team. We will also give away a Kit for the the person with the most potential on that day. Ansmann will also bring a range of products so you can see what we have and if there are any questions about the Ansmann range we will be at hand to answer anything you have. What do you think? |
I think this sounds like a top idea. Its just a shame that I am only just in the process of building my cars and am yet to race them so would likely be left for dust. I would have loved to take part in something like this with a few months racing under my belt....

You are the perfect person to come along! We want up and coming drivers as well as good drivers. You should! |
I will give it some serious thought then.... I will keep an eye open for the whens and wheres and will let you know. Consider me a definately maybe for the novice category.
I actually bought an Ansmann the other day. I discovered that the dog loves to chase RC cars so bought a MadRat RTR. I take it over the park and he will chase it relentlessly until he drops. The only problem being is the RTR stock electrics are not quite quick enough so he can catch the car. As he cant turn so quick though, the chase is all about letting him get close then turning sharply and streaking away, only for him to chase it down again. Last weekend I was a bit slow on one turn though and he picked it up by the wing and threw it head first into the dirt.:cry: I dont think I will be letting him near the RB5 or B44.1..... Back on track though, I will keep my eyes open for further details and hopefully come along to one of the days. |
P.M. sent,
Ansmann car's in the 2wd and 4wd A final at the Junior Nationals??????????????? |
