Meet times?

Hi there,

can anyone confirm for me what time racing starts on Sunday and how long the day lasts?

brother hoping to drop down and have a go if times fit.

cheers

Darren:)

Stotty 24-05-2011 08:34 PM

Usually starts at 11 but can get there abit earlyer to help setup.
Usually finishes bout 5 dependin on turnout and weather

Si Coe 24-05-2011 08:35 PM

People normally start gathering around 11.30, booking in around 12-12.30 and racing until we get fed up and go home.
There is no fixed finish - if the light stays good and the wife's* aren't complaining we can be there as late as we like....

* though it must be added that nobody has ever heard of a wife not complaining about something.......

Stotty 24-05-2011 08:47 PM

Sorry si got my times mixed up.

Darren Wales 25-05-2011 08:42 AM

Thanks

Cheers Si

I hope to get down then and have a bash with my bro.

I'm still on the hunt for a 4wd. I see jhonny-gibbon is selling his on the bay.
Anyone got any serious opinion on the car and what it will sell for?

Darren

johnnygibbon 25-05-2011 09:42 AM

yes its the best 4wd on the market
better than all buggys it does 200 mph ,can fly, and never breaks cos its got a force field generator. and wins all the races.
and its worth 5000

asking for serious opinions on oople ....especially bury section is never wise
. but if ya want it pm me with ya offer its not a bad car and youll get it cheaper than ya think.

Darren Wales 25-05-2011 10:15 AM

bmax4

Pm sent, although I was hoping for some good old Bury banter to come from the ask.

Si Coe 25-05-2011 01:37 PM

Its a Bmax. Thats all you really need to know. Its tough, its easy to drive and there are several other Bmax owners at the club, so somebody will have spares for most issues.

Same would apply for a Lazer (FS2 version - basic ZX5's are very different) or a B44.
I'd be more cautious about something like Cat or a Predator, simply as none of us run them so you unlikely to get much assistance trackside.
And you don't want a Durango. All Durango owners are kn0bs.......

Yep witnessed that last week unlucky that was buddy although you were behind me at that point:blush:

Si Coe 25-05-2011 10:24 PM

RCnitrotech - Just come down on Sunday and ask for me (Si) or Rob (Mills) and we'll help you with anything you need to know.

All you'll need is the car, a few packs of cells and a way of charging them. Unfortunately we don't have mains available ATM so it will need to be a 12V charger, but I'm sure someone can help out there.
First race is free, so no need to worry about money, but you'll probably want to bring some food and drink as we'll be there a while.
Tyres wise Schumacher yellow minispikes for the back, stagger ribs or minispikes for the front.

Oh, and you'll want a chastity belt in case a Durango owner tries to bum rape you. You have been warned!

captainlip 25-05-2011 10:56 PM

Especially with all these gays running around :D

cherryc 26-05-2011 12:58 AM
