On display at Shizuoka at the moment.

sosidge 12-05-2011 09:51 AM

Interesting.

Also interesting to see that Seven next to it... will have to have a good look at the Shizuoka pics...

nobby 12-05-2011 10:21 AM

looks more like an RB5 to me. nice to see Yok. branch off. maybe that'll mean more support because ppl will want this

budgio 14-05-2011 12:07 AM

Have Yokomo done 2wd buggies before?
That "don't touch" sticker is ace. I want one

Twister 14-05-2011 01:22 PM

No this is their first twowheeler to my knowledge and it probably wont be revolutionary as losis 22 or durango 210 but Yokomo 2wd is a must have! :)

Chequered Flag Racing 15-05-2011 10:01 AM

Wonder if it'll be able to convert to Mid motor?

Rebelrc 17-05-2011 06:49 AM

I think that's a no to mid
Looking at it it can't be done
Looks very rb5 / b4
Nice one yokomo

t8rtot 29-09-2011 07:33 PM

any more news on this??

93works 29-09-2011 09:47 PM

yokomo rule!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hope it's a real rig and a half:thumbsup:

jimmy 29-09-2011 09:59 PM

I think it'll be announced in the next month or so.

CODMAN 01-10-2011 11:40 PM

I hope this is true. Also that it's more than a remodeled B4 or BR5, so it is worth the expense...[

Very interesting indeed... now when can I get one? hehe

CODMAN 13-10-2011 06:56 PM

Should be nice... I'm just affraid it won't be particularly innovative (can't really tell yet by the limited info) compared to the other new 2wd buggies. I mean, I need a real excuse to sell my B4 and buy one of these... I hope Yokomo will deliver it! :D

t8rtot 13-10-2011 07:11 PM

there isn't much in innovation left in 2wd.. even the durango hasn't really raised the bar, they've just made it more ajustable and made it easier to do so.

nice to see yokomo quality in 2wd though.

discothesnake 14-10-2011 06:18 AM

B-max2

I can't wait to see this car. All Yokomo's stuff us great and this will be no different. All you need a 2wd to do is work and I'm pretty sure this will.

i just bought a durango but i have to say that i do like the look of this yokomo. Looks very much bmax 4wd to me as regards to the plastic look but didnt that make it flex and great to drive ?. Release date and price required so i can explain to my other half why i need yet another car.

racingdwarf 19-10-2011 08:55 AM

Looks nice, but I bet the price will be the killer with how things are going in world finance at the min, and will it get good back up in the uk Bmax4??

discothesnake 19-10-2011 11:18 AM

bmax2

That is the problem with yokomo at the moment is the lack of backup in this country. I love my B-max4 II and every now and then you have to bite the bullet and put in an order to Japan for parts. I will probably do the sams for the 2wd when it comes out.

I will definitely be getting one.

CODMAN 19-10-2011 12:32 PM

Guys, here in Canada we are used to no "backup" for cars. Rare are hobby shops that carry parts for the cars, and then it's only a small selection of AE or Losi parts. So ordering online for parts is a fact of life. Luckily, with places like Race and drift Japan, order times are very low ( I get my stuff within a week! That's fater than my hobby shop gets AE parts). The real inconvenience is shipping costs, forcing you to plan ahead and group needed parts in a single order as much as possible.
I don't know about you, but my Yokomo is incredibly tough! It very seldom breaks, reducing my need to order spares...

Cheers!

Cool! It seams to handle well (no big surprise) and is obviously in the hands of a great racer (no surprise here either)...

Can't wait to get some feedback on these from actual everyday racers and see how they like it!

Is it going to be imported into the UK ? Hope so ! Would be nice to have Yokomo supported over here again !
