Should toilet roll be served over the top or from underneath the roll, this debate is starting to get nasty here and we need the calming infulence.

underneath..so you pull the paper you want, not stick your shit hand on top of the paper your not going to use

I will solve the debate, get a free standing paper holder, sits on the floor and you pick the whole roll off to use!!! Problem solved, but, if it is on the wall, def underneath!!!! It works better:D

when I were a lad.... we had to use newspaper when we ran out cos we were poor.:( Please do not try this at home as it BLOODY HURTS!!!

regarding the 'under - over' issue....it also depends on what type of hoder you have. we have one of those that i basically a steel rod that goes through the roll and the roll rests against the wall, and so you can do it one handed from 'over the top' but not from underneeth.

but if its one that has the roll away from the wall then I'd say its better form underneeth.

Graham, plenty to do however with the annual crimble lull, and the inadequate cleaners, who insist on putting the toilet roll in the wrong way. Some questions need answering!!!!

And yes the E4 has arrived as well as the 416 and I cant wait to get back to it, both are looking good and I cant wait to get back on track.

Always let the open part of the roll Hang under the roll never over . When you let it hang unde its alot easier to rip with one hand . when it lays over the roll when you yank it you can possible unroll the whole thing. Its all about the symantics of it LOL . . .

We have just had a change of cleaning company and now most of the cleaners are Eastern European, I wonder if its a cultural thing!!!
