Racing - Sunday 24th April 2011
I'll be racing properly this weekend :) 2WD again.
Who is in? |
Me. Need some practice before the first all day event.
Racing my X6 but secretly hoping to get beaten by the Losi 22s so I can convince myself I actually need a 22 rather than just want one!! Rob |

If I can get a car in time then I would like to see what the tracks like. Will try and pop along anyways to say hi :)
|
Sadly no 'leccy fun for me... racing nitro at Clanfield to shake down the new truggy ready for the first round of the Nationals at Herts the following weekend.

Def 2WD for me then, but may just runa testing session ready for the Summer Series. I.e. 2WD round 1 4WD round two etc. |

Better see some running on Sunday then and find out why they are all selling them!!?? Rob |

Remember it's also driving style. Steve HATED the X6 when he tested one. What about the new c4.1 from CML? I love my Vega apart from the price and the shell. SV, Vega and 511 will be my fleet for 2011. Vega and 511 for the regionals, but prob just doing 4WD Bloomfield would have put it in the A if he hadn't been on the reserve list at the national |
I'd guess all the Clanners will be absent, either racing there or (in Jamie K's case) playing with the big nobs at the Neo... so could be a bit quiet. Most will probably be back the week after, think it's only me and Tony RC doing the Nats, depends how many decide to do the SRS @ Slough. Man, too much racing, not enough time!
Glad you commented on the Vega shell, was going to comment on it's 'uniqueness' myself:eh?:. Having said that, many people seem visually offended by the Gainabull shell on the Durango. |

I'm there again hopefully get nine laps in if I cAn stop rolling over
what does the vega shell look like? |

Chris Ill have a nice heavy weight to place under the lipos, not a nice shiney brass one  This will help settle car down, however the 55 grams on the back is a must. |
mikey,i have got a orca vritra vc4 pro mk2 speedo and trinity d3 7.5 motor so we will see how this goes on sunday if not happy will sell the 22, trying it in rear motor this weekend just to see if it suits me more

Steve, Phil, Nick I think SV fundamentally. Next! ;) |
Great morning - track is getting better and better with new jumps.
Thought I was having a reasonable final only to find my a wire had come loose on my transponder so I got zero laps - suppose it is better that it happened this week rather than next. Lets start praying for another dry day for next Sunday. Don't forget your disposable barbeques for lunchtime. 2 for £5 in B&Q at the moment. Rob |

Greatmornings racing or I should say repairing!!!!!! The track is brilliant looking forward to next weekend c u all then
|
good days racing again need a 6.5 back in my cat thats for sure track is great at the moment new jumps seem to work well got a bit of adjustment to do on one going to make it a little bit lower after feedback from drivers today which is what we like so we can sort problems .
so off down in the morning to sort it all out re do the starting grid on straight so we will be all set for the big meeting next sunday see u all there  |
Had a fun morning yesterday - like the new features, especially the small table top - though the final always seems over too quickly. So just wondered instead of 4 qualifying heats and 1 final, whether it would be better with 3 qualifying heats (best 2 to count) and 2 finals? :)
