So then what colour wheels do you all run. And do you use spoked or solid wheels?

I run white solid wheels

i use yellow dish on my xx4 and white dish on my cr odd but yellow are ace yellow are better than white some people say yeloow wheels look pants well its actually your paint jobs if you had better paint jobs yellow wheels would look so much better.

I used to hate yellow wheels until I borrowed some off Chris and found I could see them better. However I don't think they look as nice and also I have LOADS of white dished ones so will be sticking with them.

White are better and thats all i have ever run so it stands to reason :rolleyes:

Im begining to see a trend developing. And everyone seems to be liking white wheels.

There are 4 types of wheels that have 3 levels of "gayness"

Level 1. (no "gayness") White dished wheels.


Level 2. (medium "gayness") White spoked wheels, yellow dished wheels


Level 3. (Obscene "gayness") Yellow spoked wheels


Level 1 should be the norm for every driver, level 2 is acceptable if no alternatives are available (but only for a short time) and level 3 should be avoided at all costs and is never ever to considered as a full time wheel choice!;);):rolleyes:

The new orange pred wheels do look pretty funky in orange. I tried dying some wheels once but they just went a light shade of pink ?lil ben

Nope in actual fact i never used em and gave em to matt latham cos i couldnt bare the sight of em in my pit box lol.

i think its becuase i did them in cold dye and not in a warm one which i hear affects how they die.lil ben

Yeh it was ment to make the wheels whiter but they came out pink for some reason lol. Nah just kidding it was to go with my bodyshell but when they came out they didnt look very good.

i felt like yellow wheels made my car sluggy :eh?:

but white mate if feel faster and more darty for some reason ! :eh?:

white wheels are rather cool though, not a big fan of the new JC wheels but i do like the yellow 5 spoke wheels they are rather hot !

when you dye them you do use really hot water makes the plastic warm and it expends which soaks the dye in !

cold water .... haha ;) hero lol

bring to the boil and simmer fo 20 mins...:D ramsey styley...:p
