Don't forget everyone that all the usual classes will be there too and it is also the first week of the truck champs too!

Can everyone who is looking to run please put your details on this thread so we can try and get booking in done as early as possible.

brian s 21-03-2011 02:56 PM

mike, just chuck some electrics in it and give your rc10 a run, 4 days is plenty of time to get it running.

Dyna 21-03-2011 04:00 PM

Oh btw, if i do actually manage to be there this friday ( ive got the 501x ready also ) ill be there early - 6.00pm. Will there be anyone there to open up at that time ?

blue_pinky 21-03-2011 05:12 PM

I'm not usually there quite that early, but your more than welcome to pick up the keys if you make it at that time!

I'm usually there by about 6:30 these days.

Belsten 21-03-2011 08:57 PM

Yup I will be there and xls'ing
Matt give me a shout if you do make it and are early and I will get there for the same time too

Dyna 21-03-2011 09:57 PM

Righto Dave, ill give you a bell friday morning to let you know my arrival time - looking forward to seeing the XLS in action

GRIFF55 21-03-2011 10:07 PM

Can you give dave those cat shocks for me too please?

Dyna 22-03-2011 10:26 AM

Yes no problem Andy. They are in my box for Dave.

Caine 22-03-2011 07:56 PM

On the subject of parts Matt is there any chance you could bring those RC10 rear arm mounts with you that i let you have for moulding a while back, as i really need them for a RC10 i'm building. Thanks

c0sie 22-03-2011 10:17 PM

Andy, do you want me to bring this B44.1 with me Friday fella?

evilbert 22-03-2011 10:50 PM

I've got the s44 running proper too now... is that old enough to qualify for vintage :)

JACKOR33 22-03-2011 10:51 PM

I've put my electrics back into the firedragon ready to do battle again this friday
Looking forward to more laughs on the rostrum:woot:

hit5005 23-03-2011 07:50 PM

ill be there 2wd truck next week hopefully.huw

brian s 23-03-2011 10:09 PM

looks like there is a good possibility of a full heat of vintage

peetbee 23-03-2011 11:19 PM

Full heat of vintage would be good :)

Don't forget everyone, it's not just vintage and trucks!!

and Bill the answer is no, but why are you asking when you have a perfectly good vintage car?

Belsten 24-03-2011 01:15 AM

suddenly I feel nervous

Dyna 24-03-2011 09:36 AM

Ok before i forget for tomorrow...

Cat shocks for Dave from Andy - check.

Rear RC10 sus mounts for Caine - check.

Top Force for vintage racing - check.

TRF501x for extra racing - check.

Money for Balders - check. Literally.

Chassis protection sheet for Balders - got to put that in...

Motor & grippier tyres for Bills Lazer if he needs them - check

Is there anything else i need to bring for anyone that ive borrowed/nicked/brought/bargained for in the past and forgotton about ?? I might not be able to make it for another couple of months so tel me now

Mwaha ha you should do Dave - Top Force is chomping at the bit for a win against a XLS. If it dosent strip anymore screws and falls apart that is ;)

peetbee 24-03-2011 09:41 AM

Isn't that one of the seven dwarves and does he mind being felt? :woot:

The trucks aren't in the same heat as the vintage you know!:p

Stants will you be there with the trx?

I want to see Racing DOG's (sorry, I mean GOD...) wind up truck in the same heat as Belsten's XLS.

Sorry Pete, can't answer yet. Will I be there? Maybe. Will I Be running the Traxxas? Possibly. Need to find speedo & motor for it as ripped them out when flooded B44.1 at recent MAM.

peetbee 24-03-2011 10:34 AM

I have a spare brushed setup you can throw in it if you want?

Gaz_Stanton 24-03-2011 11:20 AM

It's ok thanks Pete. I dug out a brushed speedo & motor the other day that would be fine. It's the time to get it all installed I'm struggling with.

Belsten 24-03-2011 11:36 AM

aye aye
If you do make it stants, dont forget your cars, again :woot:

Gaz_Stanton 24-03-2011 12:05 PM

Ha ha! What fool would do that! At least it was just a test and not a race day.

Have now gone home to start sorting the Traxxas, just so I can aim it at the XLS tomorrow...

Mind you, I bet it's easier to get parts for that than it was for the 502!

blue_pinky 25-03-2011 04:53 PM

So who is getting the keys then? Matt..you still on for your early arrival? Or am I posting to late to find that out? ;)

Belsten 26-03-2011 11:44 PM

So I think it is safe to say the xls needs some set up work and the proper shell, undertray and wing

brian s 27-03-2011 08:35 AM

and the procat needs repairing after being rear ended, dave do you have a spare rear hub as i have`nt got any.

Belsten 27-03-2011 10:39 AM

No problem mate

Dyna 27-03-2011 10:45 AM

http://www.oople.com/forums/showthread.php?t=66376

:blush::blush::( Sorry Brian, if it's any consolation the RC10 is being replaced by Dave's mid for the next round and that has a huuuuuge squishy bumper on the front of it.
Matt can you replicate pro cat rear hubs?!

Talking of which, how does the 15th April sound to everyone for the next round?

Dave & myself (plus others???) will be at Stotfold for 1st round of the Nationals. (Or have you picked that date for that reason for a points haul?... :p)

Caine 27-03-2011 08:56 PM

 And its still carrying on

15th sounds good to me, however the missus still thinks the last round is this friday so i'm still comin racing Shhh

peetbee 27-03-2011 08:58 PM

Gaz as if I would! :woot:
22nd April then? (should give Gaz chance to blow a few more speedos by then!)

Belsten 28-03-2011 06:14 AM

22nd is good for me, not the 15th though, im going give the yoke a run for the last one
