Remember what the title was won with?
I've tried over many years to reconstruct a "hall of fame" for most RC classes. This is for 1:10 Off-road:
www.ymr.no/hf1_10or.htm (will make an english version later) -could you guys help me reconstruct the list as to EC and WC? What car (and other gear) did they win with? "(?)" = not 100% confirmed |
Broken link?

If you want to be fully accurate - 2002 2wd that Neil won was I think with a development car - known as B3X if I remember correctly, rather than B4.
Jorn's 4wd in Italy was Durango. |
Can never be too accurate! Thx!
Updated. More? |

Nick, don't worry about the venue or driver (except the first name), those are 100% complete from IFMAR and EFRA. I only need to know what car & gear they won with. Link updated, we're close now! Keep going! Btw. I'd also like to have the full first name of the winners! |
Shy,
4wd - 98, yup, Jukka won with xx4 powered by orion, after Phil Murton had TQ'ed with a pred. |

Thx! Now let's do the rest! Especially the really old results! There's a lot of Craig Drescher - surely some of you lot know what he drove? :p |
1996 it was Jukka with proto XX4 AFAIK. It was first time we've seen the car.
|
No, I think Yukka was using a Cat 2000 until 97WC. Not 100% sure though!
|
Just had a look at a couple more!
93 worlds - don't think Masami's Yokomo was a 93 worlds as such, I'm sure it was a "special" worlds car, that was then available in very limited quantity after the event for something like £500 (without shocks!!). This then kind of morphed into the YZ10 production car. 1995 Euros - Craig would have been running Cat 2000EC, and I believe Jukka would have been running Cougar 2000 - probably '95 spec. |
Thx! Updated.
As to the Yoke, isn't it "Works" and not "Worlds" - or is that correct? If you guys know anyone who might know more, will you ask them plase? |
In 1992 Ellis was using a Kyosho Lazer - I know this because I just texted him - LOL
|
Thx Tony! The ZX5 version?
Who will text Craig? |
I think Craig was driving Schumacher at the times you need - I will let you know what I can find out
|
*bump*
|
In 1985 G Losi won the worlds in 2wd - I am sure this is right

Thx guys, updated again.
But keep in mind that the list IS up to date for year, venue, driver, country. And all that is fully confirmed. What I need is the car (+ motor etc) they won with. >> so read through it one more time, maybe more springs to mind! Tell me more about that grand theft auto story! Was he then forced to use a different type of car? |
The guy from UK that won the EC in 85 - "N. Ward" - what is his full first name?
Any word from Craig D? |
