501X gearbox covers

I was wondering if anyone had any info on the 501X gearbox covers
mentioned at the EUROs
http://www.oople.com/rc/photos/euros2007/day5/

jimmy 21-11-2007 08:28 AM

I spoke to one of the guys involved in Japan, and I think the mould was just about to be made, so I guess it should be out any time now? the latest revision which I didn't show looks even better.

Sebus...
Do you know if he has a Site or is sellin' the parst on ebay yet???
I tryed both sites but no luck

:(

Or maby you could send him a mail for us...
I'm sure I'm not the only one Lookin' for these Parts. . .

Gayo 21-11-2007 04:49 PM

The part is made by Cédric Devillers, his nickname on oOple is "Deuv", you can PM him.
I don't think that the production is started though. I saw the proto, it's ace !

AaronR 21-11-2007 06:58 PM

Wow, I forgot all about that front-facing rear cover. That will certainly help out... I have a habit after every race to use an X-Acto knife to flick out any dried dirt that gets between the pulley teeth to keep it clean.

nitrokillah 22-11-2007 09:08 AM

Humm...
I'm confused...
Witch one acctually makes these parts?
Or are both Arnaud Ledun & Cédric Devillers involved in this project together ?

New REAR-rear cover sits behind rear diff

Sorry, it was not clear.
Arnaud and Cédric joined forces to create Optimized RC. Cédric actually designed the parts.
