Is there an entry list for the meeting yet by the way?

Dave

jimarea51 18-11-2007 11:13 AM

Hi all,

Can we enter online or on the day? I'm away and don't think that i can get hold of a copy of the entry form let alone the postal address...

Thanks

Jim

Robfo 18-11-2007 01:57 PM

From what i was told yesterday the entry is nearly full, have a look on the Schumacher website for the entryform and contact details.

Northy 18-11-2007 02:46 PM

Tel, how can me and Jim get an entry?

Stu 18-11-2007 04:43 PM

A PM to Tim Ward was just the job last time - I've done the same again.

Was ace last time - hopefully it'll be just as good next week.

PaulRotheram 18-11-2007 10:31 PM

Anyone know if a shop will be attending this meeting who stocks D4 parts?

RSharpy 18-11-2007 10:40 PM

Its PBM Racing who will be at Worksop, although not sure if they have D4 parts. Give Andy a bell in the morning, the shops number- 01773 769323.

muzzy 19-11-2007 12:38 AM

pre booking....

Anyone who would like to enter round 3 of the series next sunday please feel free to send me a pm with ALL your details in as requested on the entry form and I shall get you booked in and then just pay on the day, had quite alot of pre entries for this event so if your attending and you haven't told us yet please do so asap!!!! Also to the track helpers from last time could you please pm me and let me know if your planning on doing the same next weekend so then we can get everything organised properly once again and have a really good track. From talking to a few people we feel we need to put down 2 lines of tape near the start line so people who are setting off from 1-5 have their cars on the front row, and then 6-10th start on the back row, hopefully this will help to reduce any problems at the start of each heat. Any other suggestions please shout up and we shall see what we can do ;)
No plans to move the rostrum though as yet.
Hopefully it shall be another really good track and good meeting :)

Do we know whether there are any places remaining to race tomorrow? I know someone who might want to go,

Thanks

muzzy 24-11-2007 10:47 PM

Yes there are still spaces left to race tomorrow just turn up and we shall book you in, just got back from building the track and its once again awesome think you shall all like it, some big jumps again and some challenging parts!!!!
Lets see tomorrow who takes victory as its very close at the top of the championship tables after 2 rounds!!!
See you all there in the morning ;)

Stu 25-11-2007 07:11 PM

Gerald thought it was good today.

He met some ace new friends; I think Carl scared him a bit though

He thought the meeting was really well run again, he liked the big jump in front of the rostrum but not the diagonal one across the track as the take off ramp was in two stages making it a bit random - it's the same for everyone though!

He liked the controlled practice too.

:)

ben 25-11-2007 07:25 PM

So who won then?

lil ben

James 25-11-2007 07:31 PM

2WD

1. Danny Mcgee
2. Tom Cockerill
3. Ben Riley
4. James Helliwel

jimmy 25-11-2007 08:40 PM

Good laugh, I liked the track - probably not the big jump tho, it was a bit too balls out for me - but then again it claimed plenty of victims (not so much myself) so I guess it's not all bad.
My crazy Tamiya went ok too! and I even won a prize! haha..

The hilight of the day for me was us getting told off for having an empty drink on the table bought elsewhere - we were even threatened with eviction from the meeting for buying non-worksop beverage. I absolutely kid you not. :p

RogerM 25-11-2007 09:06 PM

So you can't take your own food and drink with you???????!!!!!!!!!??????

I thought that was one of the best jumps I've ever raced on! Nice and consistent, a decent downramp that was big enough to hit and time to be made for getting it right :)

Wasn't keen on the random bumpy hill thing going back towards the line though, that was aweful :(
