I think we should get Mr Christopher to come and race electric with us ?
see if he still got it lol |
Used to go to Wombwell quite a lot before I went to uni. Do you use the full circuit for the leccy TC's? Or do you miss out that super far away top loop and use the chincany bit?
|
we use the chicane for the 1/10th's its used by the 1/5ths
|
Cool, will have to try and get down to the next meet. What does everyone generally run as far as motors go? I've got 13.5 and 10.5. I fancy 10.5, bet it would be awesomely fast with the space at Wombwell. I'd run mod but I'm not sure about my mod motor, think its a little dodgy.
|
well basicly its an open class so people use what they have 1 lad uses a 4.5t couple of others use 10.5t which they put in a similar number of laps as the 4.5t user faster isnt always better.and others used brushed around 15turns. i run f1 and use a tamiya silver can and managed to push 11 laps in the final average lap around 29secs were as the faster tcs push out 22sec laps
|
I reckon my 10.5 should do the job nicely then. Hopefully cya at the next meeting if I can make it.

yeah but only a stock motor Mark
not a door wedge either  |
speed for your self on the weather front everytime we went out with the f1's the heavens opened alittle on us every heat!
then i got mass interference on 2.4ghz in the 3rd round so got the munk on n gave in lol, sorted that though moved my receiver wire so was sticking up. where was the f109 then was no competition in the f1 class mike stripped his spur so was using a wagon wheel lol so was proper slow n are gary wasnt much behind me with his f109,love the f103 no messing around like the f109s |
the results are up http://www.wombwelllargescalechampio...cereports.html
looking at the lap times i hold the f1 fastest lap at 19.95sec on a silver can! |
