Another cracking night, one request though, please can we not have 11/12 car finals, just makes qualifying pointless in my eyes as it's just a carnage final. Need to aim to be starting at 7.30.

And make the 4wd A final 5 minutes :p

Agree with Paul, the 12 car finals are a bit of a demolition derby.. plus those of us who are a bit slower have a chance of competing against people of a similiar level..

Starting a bit earlier would definately be appreciated too, especially with an hour long drive home afterwards.

id say by 7.30, its usually around 8pm but we need to get it going a bit quicker

The track is being laid a little earlier today, anyone that wants/can get here earlier gets more practice:woot:

Yes it's on. People use either yellow minipins or minispikes, staggered ribs, or slim mini's on the front. Not tried mini pins on a 2wd.

Unfortunately the track won't be open for practice as early as usual due to a few of us running late because of work commitments. (around 6.30)
If any of you regulars want to start building a track then feel free, but remember NO silly jumps!! :lol:

I am interested in popping down to the Tuesday night off-road club (next week) with a view to joining - I am a newbie though (not only to RC but also the area as well), is there anything I need to bring along?

Plus, how much is it to join per year and per session?

It's £8 per night. There are a couple of tracks in the area. What car/radio gear/charger ect have you got?

I have been putting together a B44, and have a LRP 10.5t motor and ESC - radio gear is next on my shopping list. Just wanted to pop along and get a general vibe for the place.

On tuesday nights, pretty much all your pitting stuff is provided. (Table, chair, mains power etc) so its just a case of bringing your car/tools/charger etc..

There is also the last round of the Kyosho off road series this saturday at Moto Arena which should be pretty good.
