what are the moulds made of? certainly not normal plaster is it?

It's not any kind of plaster :p They're made from high quality aluminium filled epoxy resin. It's quite an expensive material to use for moulds, but will produce a much better finish than say plaster, mdf or modelling board.

It also looks lush when it's polished :)

were also going to need one for the longer sv chassis, something to work on:thumbsup:

normally not, the body still fit the longer chassis.
that's what a team driver told me and he was using the new chassis

The mould is just having a final tweek ....

We're still looking at getting them ready to ship before the end of the month ......

Due to my location id grab 2 shells order via PM or website ? have a Australian Nationals end of April so it would be nice to rock a fresh shell.

Do you think that this bodie will fit the AC S2?

Just tried the prototype on my S2, it fits but the motor plate would need trimming quite a lot......

Thanks! When do you think they will be available for shipping. I would like to try one on my S2? Even better, have you thought about making one for the S2. Not sure how much of a demand there is for them now though seeinf that they are out of production. I keep hoping They will run anouther batch of tubs, but thats for a different thread. Thanks agen.

Ther first batch should be in the shop by the end of the week and ready to ship :thumbsup:

and we won't be making a body for the S2 as the original about as good as it gets :)

I think you can still get tubs made for a price ....
