Winter Warmer Series Rd 2
 

Ok let's get it started!
Round 2 of Eden Park's winter series is this Sunday.
We want to see 50+ this weekend please!!!
We have done alot of work since the last round with more to come this Saturday if any of you want to help.
In my opinion this track will get a National, so it,s the perfect chance to learn this track, and from what I have been told is it's a very rewarding track if you get it right!!! And we will be having the favored line starts:D
The weather forecast is for a nice sunny day as well.
You can pre-book with Matt or Alex, and Mr Brooke will be running this meeting :o LOL.
I would like to see more of the Stotfold boys there and any of you guys that were at CML Sunday, well you will love this track as well, oh and Lee M. you should come along as well, along with Mr Trueman and the Cockhill's!!!!

Popped down the track on Sunday and saw that the rain had washed some of DC's hard work away but still, the effort that was put in on the Saturday has made a huge difference!

The plans for track work this Saturday are to try and get rid of the weeds and grass that are on the outside of the main straight and down the side of the jumps. So, if anyone can bring shovels and stiff brooms it would be appreciated!!!

If there is anyone that has not raced at the first round and are wanting to race on Sunday, could they please send in your details for me to add to the database. I would like:

Just had confirmation that Wayne Pratley will be making a return to 1:10 off-road at the Winter Warmer this Sunday.

It will be good to see him back and he is bringing a few mates along too!

I was looking forward to having a crack at this track but am out of the country this weekend....

Yes the next meeting is on 2 December. I wont be there but Alex Brayshaw will run the meeting.

Our meetings run on the first Sunday of the month - see attached screen grab image from our website.

There are rumours that Marc Knight may come down from MK Racing and Lewis Dickinson of Xtreme RC has attended meetings before.

I will try to confirm the situation one way or another tomorrow...

theres one called spec racing about 5 mins in car,along wickham road,or racing passion about 15 mins or less on anerley hill. spec racing is 02086569200 and racing passion 02087780000 for any last minute parts etc

Yep, I am planning to, I have a meeting at 8am, but that shouldnt take long, hopefully I will be there by 10am, I will get more paint and bring plenty of brushes for all to join in!!!!!!! :D

lovely jubley,i reckon we could get whol track done with 4 of us??or am i being unrealistic?also would the paint dry,i dont know what type/make its is?

We would have a good chance of painting all the curbs, and it should dry, its water-based masonry paint...

As far as I know Spec racing isn't open on a sunday and the last time I went there he didn't stock anything off road. If anyone knows any different I stand corrected.

That track looks great DC, just wish i didn't live so far away!!!

spec racing isnt great,granted but if you need that old wheel nut etc he might have it,tyre glue that sort of stuff,cant wait till morning!!!
