Belgian GP 2011

The 2011 Belgian GP will be held on the first weekend of July (1-2-3), coinciding with the park's festivities, as usual.

This year's edition will be invitational. Entries will open early February - expect an announcement and details on the club's website: http://www.mbv.be - and remain open for 2 weeks.
Participants will be picked by the organizers, but you can increase your chances by:
- being a regular and always having registered and paid on time
- being an addition to an exciting mix of nationalities
- being a star, or a hero like Jimmy

V-Rossi 29-12-2010 10:21 PM

Since there's no BITCH criteria, I guess you fit in the hero category

Bring us some glue & aceton!

Pretty wifes, girlfriends or sisters are also a big plus!
if you bring them with you without locking them up in your car or tent

tony12795 06-01-2011 09:39 PM

Elvo, what do you mean: This year's edition will be invitational

If you attended the meeting last year do you get an invite ?

Tony

flipside 08-01-2011 12:01 AM

No it's like the oople race. Everyone can enter, and the organizers pick the lucky ones, by the criteria Elvo has written in his first post.

So yes if you entered last year(s), and paid the entry fee in time back then, you have a better chance than someone who for example canceled his entry already a few times, or who needed to be kicked first before finally paying the fee etc...

See you in july

rcpower 12-01-2011 08:24 PM

Are entries opening at 12pm tomorrow on schedule, as previously announced?
Can you pay with credit cars or paypal?

Cooper 28-01-2011 04:09 PM

You can only pay after you have been "invited" by us.

It's same system as the oople invernational.
1- email us
2- we pick out our drivers
3- you get an email back, you're invited.
4- you pay us (and I think paypall is possible yes)
5- you're officially attending the GP

janus_77 29-01-2011 02:28 PM

Just for clarification:

- these are not hard set rules. We didn't say you can never get in if you're not a top driver or have never raced the GP before. Don't be too shy to register.

- 'hero' doesn't necessarily mean A final hero. Heroes in off-track entertainment are also accepted.

madmax 14-02-2011 01:35 PM

Of course, no one said the surface changed :)

The layout changed! And 'vids will surface' (no idea if that's correct in english?)

  • Don't drink with the guys from Denmark
  • If you stay on the site during the race: Bring Earplugs if you want to sleep on saturday
  • For dry: mini pins/spike yellow are the norm, with staggers in front for 2wd if the track is high grip.
  • For wet: Ballistic minipin's ( Not Spikes )
  • have fun
