would you be interested??

orite guys, for a school business/technology project, i have to make a product, package it and sell it. for this i thought about using the schools technology resources to make about 20-30 buggy wings. i was just wondering that when they are made would anyone be interested in buying some, they will be a damn site cheaper than jconcepts ones, but wont be crappy, ill made nor will they be shite and out of proportion. they arem ade of the same plastic (lexan) and are clear so you can paint them up for your self, they are also very similar in shape to the B4 interceptor wing. i have spent a long time on this project moulding and buying materials, making plans etc. i am now onto packaging. they should be finished by around 2 weeks from now.

im looking to sell them at around £3, or 3 for £10. if you are interested or want to know anymore then jus pm or email me. or leave a comment here. i can also (once finished) post them for another 75p each. or i can bring some to a race meet at batley if needs be.

thanks alot guys

Alex

Hey Alex,
Good idea on the project, its also a consumable item with a life of on average half a dozen race meetings (I estimate)- so could make a few quid ;)

I'll use one, I will probably see you at the next Batley meeting which will be indoors now, it may even be the indoor regional on the nd of Dec.

BTW, you missed two great club meetings outdoors at Batley recently, the weather has been better than its been all summer!! :wtf:

b4rs 24-10-2007 08:12 PM

great to hear that mate, thanks. and about not coming to batley. i aint had enough money lately to come as it costs me around £20 a time jus to turn up and race coz i always brake stuff. but i am definatly up for coming to the indoor races. stripped ma b4 down recently and cleaned it all. so yeah. anyway thnks for the support. hopefully i will have enough money after selling these to race regularly :D. thanks

ALEX

sure mate sounds like a good product and deal. only thing is can i buy 3 seperate ones rather than 3 2gtr cos it saves me a quid :P

b4rs 24-10-2007 09:11 PM

wot do you meen mate? they are all individually packaged, please explain what you mean by by 3 seperate??

IceMike 24-10-2007 09:12 PM

you said each one is 3quid. or 3 for 10quid

ashleyb4 24-10-2007 09:29 PM

haha

what sizes we looking at here?????

A

b4rs 24-10-2007 09:38 PM

yes, but i dont know waht you want. do you want to pay £10 for 3 or £3 for 1? also they are the standard b4 size wing, i also think they fit team losi cars and losi cars too

matdodd 24-10-2007 09:40 PM

he wants to pay £3 each for 3 wings £9 not £10!

b4rs 24-10-2007 09:41 PM

sorry my bad mate, typo. they are £3 and 4 for a tenner. sorry my fault

losixxx 24-10-2007 09:42 PM

a hell of a lot of people use the bigger wing now so you would probably get more people interested if you made them like the losi auroa wing

b4rs 24-10-2007 09:43 PM

what are the sizes of the big ones? as these will be around 16cm long

b4rs 24-10-2007 09:46 PM

at under 50mph i really dont think a couple of cm's more will make much difference, anyway the mould is made now, i cant make it any bigger sorry. but these are standard size. around 16cm

losixxx 24-10-2007 09:51 PM

ok m8 if you say so, will stick with my big wing

tc2k 24-10-2007 10:05 PM

Actually, at this scale, a couple of cms do precisely that, make a difference. I find the big wings are an advantage everywhere except on high grip carpet, my big wing is 18cm and I preffer it almost everywhere to the 16cm wing

PaulRotheram 24-10-2007 10:24 PM

160mm IS about the same size as your big wing, it works out at 6inch and 1/4 ish.. We normally use 6 inch or 7 inch wings. B4 standard wings are 136mm

Get some pictures up when theyre made and i may be interested.

ashleyb4 24-10-2007 10:25 PM

Im not to sure you can get an AE wing that same the xx4 standard wing for like 1.99 but i do like the jc ilusion one but i dont thyink it will look to good on my losi.

A

losixxx 24-10-2007 10:27 PM

the losi auroa is 17 cm and j concepts 18 cm

tc2k 24-10-2007 11:02 PM

My big wing I bought is 18cm not 16cm paul, Ive even checked

b4rs 25-10-2007 11:43 AM

dont worry guys, i will get some pics up when they are made. for £3 you cant really grumble lol. but maybe i may lower the price if people show interest

Lee Martin 25-10-2007 11:49 AM

big wings make a huge difference.........

7" all way

Kopite 25-10-2007 12:08 PM

only 7" pidge? :p

matdodd 25-10-2007 12:25 PM

The bigger the better for Stan then? :p

Lee Martin 25-10-2007 12:55 PM
