mattym0310 21-10-2007 04:35 PM

no need for button to jump out of his way.. his car obviuosly wants to be beaten by him nd gave up on drive, :D. C'MON LEWIS!

I am starting to feel pesemistic, surely they must have fuelled lewis to the end... surely

Lee 21-10-2007 05:01 PM

Keep the faith,

Just like you did with the football and the rugny teams this week:wtf:

budgio 21-10-2007 05:01 PM

Go on my son :D
He,s doin ok

MK999 21-10-2007 05:04 PM

They fueled him for another stop because the stops at brazil only cost you around 20s or so, he *should* be lapping quicker than he needs to be, hopefully... slightly off topic, Rubens Barrichello: "best thing for it, is just burn this car to hell" :D

IceMike 21-10-2007 05:15 PM

Noooo dont pit

MK999 21-10-2007 05:17 PM

Hamilton just set the fastest lap of the race on a full tank, he's going for it, come on lewis !

footey 21-10-2007 05:18 PM

theres some strange team choices like no tyres last race 3 pits this one and is it poss that the team can turn things off on his car from in the pits:mad:

made sense to me, lose little time by taking 3 short pit stops and run light and fast in between them, lewis preferred the harder tyres so they put those on instead of super softs for the last stint.

footey 21-10-2007 05:35 PM

still think a weird engine cut off on 7 laps

MK999 21-10-2007 05:37 PM

wasn't engine, if the engine cut off he'd be forced to retire. His gears either failed or he cocked up somewhere, could have accidently hit the clutch button for all we know.

footey 21-10-2007 05:38 PM

jut me been sinercull:(

budgio 21-10-2007 05:44 PM

ashleyb4 21-10-2007 05:49 PM

Well done kimi mass and lewis all great drives this season sorta feela bit sorry for massa he always seems to be giving stuff to kimi and lewis was still second ovarall which is an amazing achievment.

looneylen 21-10-2007 05:54 PM

c0sie 21-10-2007 05:56 PM

Boring corrupt sport.

MotoGP is better

_JP_ 21-10-2007 05:56 PM

there's always next year!

shame really, I think Mclaren screwed up on strategy a few times this year, I was surprised that he had 3 stops, still was a nail biting last race!

No, 1/10th offroad is better :D

Southwell 21-10-2007 05:58 PM

Very unlucky for Lewis, deserved the title, I blame Mclaren for making that stupid decision last race, he should have won it. Also screwing up his fuel strategy, he could of won it otherwise!
Kimi was very strong second half of the season and never gave up.
Im just glad the crying baby that is Alonso didn't win.

Thats was a good one today.

really unlucky for Lewis even the mistake would have still kept him in the hunt. Real shame about the gearbox problem but still a good season never the less.

Raikkonen Legimitemately got in front of Massa after his pitstop :eh?:

Congratulations to Kimi, much rather he won than Alonso and all I can say about Lewis is he's going to be the best and its only a matter of when not if he will win the title.
I said before the rugby, if we lose the rugby, Hamilton will lose and vice versa. Terrible few days for british sport but all you can do is look forward :)

albertobdq 21-10-2007 06:52 PM

Hi you all.

Here, a forum "plaged" of british people opinions tend to be polarished, as it happens in spanish ones.

In my personal opinion Hamilton had bad luck with his gearbox and... he's completelly stupid!!!

Maybe he goes fast because his lack of brain makes him quicker. The maneuver at the first turn was stupid, a silly risky move from a reckness boy, not the kind of thing that you will expect from someone that has already the tittle winned. 4th position was perfectly ok for him and due his lack of vision he ended at the back of the field.

Definetivelly not very clever. He's fast, very fast, but not clever at all.

tc2k 21-10-2007 07:31 PM

TBH mate, the spanish have reputedly been exactly the same. Criticising Hamilton as the downfall of Alonso this season. I dont see how you can say 4th was enough and it was hamiltons fault, how was a gearbox problem his fault?
The reason the spanish are bitter is there main man, has been outperformed by a rookie, a 22 year old rookie who can only get better.

MikePimlott 21-10-2007 07:31 PM

Unlucky Lewis, Awesome tactics by ferrari cutting him out at start (T*8ts) shame really and when Alonso pushed his luck Lewis' head went i feel.

tc2k 21-10-2007 07:34 PM

Oh wel, hopefully Alonso will be confirmed as leaving McLaren soon and hopefully, Hamilton will get the team mate he deserves and Alonso will get the snivveling footservant he probably wants

antnee 21-10-2007 08:35 PM

if the prodrive deal does go ahead, they could have a all british team, lewis and button in the mclearen's and DC and davidson in the prodrives

MK999 21-10-2007 08:55 PM

Button could be quick next year, but i think he already said he wouldn't join McLaren as their 2nd best driver? Which although it sounds quite up himself, is understandable as any team where he is the top driver he will get the top treatment, only thing is, is joining a 'worse' team worth the better treatment or would the 2nd fastest car on the track be far better? I think the latter personally.

antnee 21-10-2007 08:59 PM

is latter is better but it is button we are talking about, the guy who is only interested in money now

Southwell 21-10-2007 09:06 PM

Looks like BMW are being investigated regarding a fuel irregularity, if they get excluded Hamilton would win the championship! :o

AndyM 21-10-2007 09:08 PM

bet it falls thru, even if this goes in hamiltons favour, its a horrid way to win
