Rules are made to be broken anyway !!!

Lee's a rebel ..:)

GRIFF55 17-10-2007 01:20 PM

Could you have it as an open organised practice session:confused:

Lee Martin 17-10-2007 01:21 PM

worksop still on...............

just no winning sometimes.....

Nick Goodall 17-10-2007 01:26 PM

Do only BRCA sanctioned events count??

Just seems odd that's all - i'm sure we used to race on the day of the AGM too??

Isn't it usually on late so you'd still have time to get there after racing anyway??

Lee Martin 17-10-2007 01:28 PM

i was intending on going anyway!

so seems stupid.............

Nick Goodall 17-10-2007 01:35 PM

Daaaaaaamn maybe not late then.....

I just remember people going and saying it was on well passed Midnight!

Lee Martin 17-10-2007 02:43 PM

Email from Mr Worsley ( thanks paul )

Hi Lee,

It is only BRCA sanctioned events that cannot be held on the same day as the BRCA AGM.

In Off -Road it would only be Regionals or Nationals that would be affected.
It is OK for Club events to be on the same day.
I assume your CML Series is not a regional event as all the Regional Series have now been completed.

Best regards,

Paul.

So its back on!

losixxx 17-10-2007 02:45 PM

Ill shut up then!:D

Lee Martin 17-10-2007 02:56 PM

indeed!!! haha

RogerM 18-10-2007 11:40 AM

I seem to have forgotten how the Reedy format works ...... anybody want to remind me??

Lee Martin 18-10-2007 11:51 AM

8 rounds of pure racing!

every time u hit the track you race to win, with points being scored upon where you finished in each race.

you drop your worst 2 scores from the 8.

Wraggy 18-10-2007 11:54 AM

do you run finals in Reedy format to dude ???

Lee Martin 18-10-2007 11:56 AM

no we havent done as every race is like a final. each round the races are mixed if pos!

Wraggy 18-10-2007 11:58 AM

so do you start in grid formation for every race then ??
or 1 at a time ?? like normal qually ???

Southwell 18-10-2007 11:59 AM

Normally 2 lines as theres not much room, then a free for all, drag race to the first corner :D

there will just be carnage at the 1st corner!!!! :wtf:

Southwell 18-10-2007 12:04 PM

Nah, not if everyone is careful. I like it cuz last time we did it i was first by the jump :D

David Church 18-10-2007 12:08 PM

A 2 line start worked good at EPR last race, there were a few crashes, but it was good, I think it helps improve your racing. At Nationals you run 8 qualifiers along with practise and only 2 races, so this style has more racing action!!!:D

RogerM 18-10-2007 08:31 PM

Sounds cool but not the place to take a car on it's first ever outing .... especially if the driver has had a 3 year break from 1/10th!

Maybe next time.

Elliott Hopkins 18-10-2007 08:35 PM

I think it's the perfect place to startout.

Elliott.

pro4nut 18-10-2007 08:40 PM

I agree with that, the surface is smooth and the track stays consistant.
In fact the track has taught me how to jump my car better, its also the only track where i beat my F2 mate but thats beside the point....

revenge will be mine next time!! lol

I hadn't even held a transmitter for nearly 6 years before having my first ever go back at this track - honestly i don't think you'll find better, the jumps are 100% consistent, tyres last pretty much all day, the food's fantastic and the atmosphere is nice and laid back - perfect even for a returnee to Off Road

showtime 18-10-2007 11:19 PM

any chance of booking me & Flanders in?
pics of Lees track were the reason we even got into 1/10th :D
that & the promise of some hot milf action :o
