got my copy of black ops today :-) whoop whoop. any one else get it today, epic !!!!!

I'd call first thing and reserve it Dave. When I've gone in on some launch days (as in daytime) on some new games, they have ran out of stock.

This game is massive, so I'd reserve definitely.

i think ill wait to see what everyone thinks before i get it.........moh is how cod should have been

Had a phone call from HMV today saying my copy was in and I can collect it at midnight tonight.....I'm on my way...:woot:

Been playing for 4 hours now, much the same as MW2 just different maps really, have to unlock alot more stuff and earn money to buy stuff, attachments etc.

Still can't understand how some people get locked on so quick, as soon as i see someone I'm dead, so frustrating.

i tryed online but already the masters was at play and quick as hell as like on nw2 lol, campain thou i think is great thou not sure about all the vids through the game maybe to many? but overall i rekon its better than nw2 :-)

If World at War and MW2 had a baby, this would be it, with a bit of evolution thrown in.

It hasn't amazed me at all but I do like the new features and it's good to play a "new" version.

Haven't tried single player yet but it better be good otherwise this game is a disappointment.

Got mine last night, not as impressed as I was with MOH, however the new features are nice, especially the practise mode to get used to the maps. And I like the fact you can choose which unlocks you want. The maps are bigger which spreads the gameplay out and slows it a little which is good as mw2 was too rushed gameplay.

Graphically not great, gameplay-classic cod.

been some major lagfests on the pc version,looks like its down to the servers.

Nuke town is one of the exceptions, that's just like some crazy ass neighbours going at it!!
Saw some people hitting level 40+ already, I think they need some sunlight!!

Been holding off on this one, got all the other cod episodes,I rushed out and got moh,and done the single player in three hours,although it made up for in multiplay,i still felt a bit ripped off,has anyone done the single player yet??

I'm definately going to be playing this game for months to come. There's so much in it.
Multiplayer, zombies, wager matches, single player and the whole game economy thing...not forgetting the theatre mode for those special moments that we all have (and in MW2 were lost forever.)

Even forgot to mention combat training!!!!

OK so 2 days in and the servers aren't perfect yet but its been better today than yesterday.

I played MW2 alot (all online) and WAW and this game just moves the gameplay element to the next level. I love it.:drool:

in sincerely hope people are playing single player on Veteran.

hey, I'm a Veteran of online gaming (I ran a clan on the PS2 from 2004 to 2009), so trust me.... in time you need decent single players too !!!

Multiplayers are like football. OK having a kick about on your own, but far better in a team and after loads of practice so you're decent.... else it sucks.

If you're just dipping in and out of multiplayers, I really don't see how it's THAT enjoyable.

The single player and co-op games are class on COD.

Anyone having trouble signing in after this new update? :(

Yes, I brought myself a ps3 today with black ops and wanted to have a go online at some point. But as i have to setup an account i got stumped with an error message. Apparently its something to do with maintenance and should be up soon. But mines been down all day :(

just been on it on the Xbox, runs fine.

im still deciding on if i like it (didnt like WAW's gameplay) the guns dont feel as sharp as mw2, hardcore gameplay is good once you hit L19

Yep, that's the one i've got. Typical, I had over 3 hours sorted last night while the wife was out shopping ........... missed opportunity LOL

Just keep pounding the enemy! Go to the weapon store, then work your way down the left, have a go with all the guns, make sure you get ones with plenty of ammo until you get in the trenches. Time it well when you've killed a few off. It doesn't pay to try and rush either as your fellow troops don't seem to follow and support to readily. Worked for me anyway.

I personally like this game a lot better than MW2, i also had a rather good clan on World at war which in my opinion was far better than MW2, i've just reached 15 hour playtime and halfway to rank 46 :thumbsup: not touched single player yet lol

The game is shocking at the moment, ive had 4 crashes and only on level 6.

Mike - XBox... Couldn't be doing with all the dodgy firmware updates and the hours of game updates every time you want to play a new game on the PS3 :woot: .. XBox gets updates, but they're fairly swift to install.

I was wondering the other day though, having been playing Wreckless racing on my HTC Desire against my mate on his iPhone over the 3G+ network, why PS3 and XBox owners can't play each other on the online gaming.
