Two New Parts Coming

The packaging has at last arrived for one part and we are putting things in boxes and bags starting Friday. Another part that we have not announced yet has actually sold out to our dealers and we have more coming in Monday.

So stand by for two big announcements next week. All owners of 4-Gear products will love the one part, and all owners of Squareds, 60s, and SCX - 60s will want the second item. These are both very effective and major cool.

Heatsinks are in UK customs as we speak......

Battery stand offs are in stock and have been for 3 to 4 weeks now.

news to me

YoungChazz 27-10-2010 02:57 AM

As we start putting ideas onto the computer screen, many of our drivers are running different cars -- Kinwald's got a Durango -- so we see what's good about them, what's not so good, and what we've got to beat.

In U.K. where 4WD is very important, our drivers have set up a deal where, if our proto isn't ready, they've got a car to run. As soon as our car is up and running again, they will begin testing for real.

heatsink is part 1 and fan is part2 ?
Or what else are we still waiting for?

Durango 27-10-2010 10:20 AM

No, it's a kit.

So we still waiting for the part 2 :)

Darren Boyle 27-10-2010 11:18 AM

Heatsink and fan do come together (ES008) and the fan is also available seperatly too (XF9200). There is still another new tuning/performance part to come later this week too...

All three items (as well as loads of other stuff too) are in UK customs for us at present and should be here early next week.

I am working on the UK press release at the moment to go out to all the UK shops and news websites and I will post it up on here (as a new seperate thread) later this afternoon when it is done also. This will include all detials on the heatsink/fan and the fan only with prices etc....

skyaflake 27-10-2010 11:56 AM

Nice. Will see what the other new thing is and decide to order :).

super__dan 28-10-2010 07:59 PM

When Brian won the S.I.G.P. that pushed the press release schedule back, and the last new part will be shown on Monday.

D.M.S. should have the new part -- it's a D.D.P. item -- in just a few days, so send your order with an extra $25 and he'll ship the new one ASAP -- you'll be both surprised and happy!

Cheers, it's actually motor wire heatshrink. I have to do it because the two types of Vampire lipos I have, have the terminals the opposite way around so the older ones in my truck have +ive at the front and the newer ones in the X6 are at the back. If they weren't labelled it would be only a matter of time before I messed up ;)

YoungChazz 04-11-2010 02:02 AM

So here's the second new part: http://rcinsider.com/ I'm surprised nobody noticed.

This is one of Brian's speed secrets. He's faster in the pits because they never strip and don't seem to load up much with dirt. And faster on the track because you can use a touch more torque on the bolt so they don't back out as easily.

X Factory UK has 'em now. They also have the individual sizes and the two drivers. Since the flat head and cap head use the same driver, most work requires just one tool. As Dirt would say, "Dialed!"

usafaircrew 05-11-2010 02:32 AM

I actually put some red nail polish around the positive terminal. I have the same issue with differant batteries having the + terminal on opposite sides. I like the Torx screws. I have them on some of my cars. They are the best on the bottom of the chassis where the screws like to strip out easy.

super__dan 05-11-2010 10:47 AM

I couldn't agree more, these may not be the coolest looking product but they are SO much better than hex heads. Since I started using them 2(?) years ago, I've NEVER stripped one!

Cooper 05-11-2010 01:09 PM

and the box-o-bolt box with hexbolts? :eh?: throw it away for torxboxobolt-bolts ?

YoungChazz 07-11-2010 05:59 PM
