All day meeting - 24th October 2010 - FINAL ROUND of Summer Series!

Final round of the summer series and prob last all day meeting of 2010 due to facilities disappearing over winter.

All to play for with regards to runners up in 2WD and 4WD with SteveB having already wrapped up 2WD & he'll prob wrap up 4WD on the 24th unless someone hides his transmitter!

Details as per previous rounds and can be found here - http://www.oople.com/forums/showthread.php?t=54062

I'm running in 4WD and just a question of what!

Looking forward to it. Unless it's chucking it down we'll be racing.

MrMagoo 11-10-2010 05:12 PM

Excellent, will be there with the Ansmann (2wd)... got nearly all the bits now:thumbsup:. Need to sort out membership as well.

I understand completely Alonso ;)

Unless you feel the urge to race 2WD!!

wylie 11-10-2010 06:28 PM

I'll be there 4wd for me. Looking forward to the last round of the summer series.
Got to get the Durango sorted .
Didn't help on Sunday having a diff outdrive that was so worn the driveshaft kept jamming in the cup cuasing it to hop skip and jump along the track.

Nige 11-10-2010 06:30 PM

4wd for me

Is there going to be a raffle?

Is that the excuse for not being in the 13 lap club ;) mind you I have certainly gone the hard way for getting there :( and Steve's nearly in the 15 lap club!

Worn I thought Durango's were suppose to be bullet proof

Nigel

I think Mike said he was putting his Cougar SV up for graps for the winner of the 4WD final. Maybe the raffle:thumbsup:

wylie 11-10-2010 06:51 PM

As you know i bought it second hand and the seller told me that he had only used it once, what i failed to realise was he didn't buy it new either so it's third hand and has a bit more mileage on that anticipated :(.
Drive cups are MEGA expensive £17.30 a pair that has to be the dearest part on the whole car (apart from the alloy side guards) new one's ordered and should be fitted tomorrow. My 1/8 scale drive cups are only £6.50 a pair.
Any other setup help will help Steve

This is totally unacceptable, you've already missed meetings this year due to getting married, you need to put your foot down. :p

Anyway I need my spare wheels!!!

About a mile - I live in Park Gate. Let me know if you are around any evenings before Sunday and I'll pop round or we can meet.

Cheers

Err yeah! I hope to start it a month earlier next year, like we tried this year with a final round in September.

It's not cold. As Dave knows - EPR in March was cold!!!

M.Andrews 21-10-2010 07:44 PM

I'll be there racing the b4. I need to protect my 3rd place in the championship!!.
Week after hope to have the new 4wd caster sk10 pro up and running, looking forward to trying the car!

Randall34 22-10-2010 07:55 PM

Northern Monkey 23-10-2010 03:03 PM

Hi everyone, I’ve been down on a Sunday with my son a few times and have had every intention of getting my vintage rides ready to race. Unfortunately time and funds have beaten me this summer (although I’m nearly there).

I would like to get to know you guys and wondered if you needed any help tomorrow as its your last all day meeting and I find myself with a Sunday free...even if I don’t get to race :(

Cheers Al

Your are more than welcome.

Randall34 23-10-2010 03:26 PM

You should defo come down Al, the club will always need keen volunteers, its always nice to see old school kit too, so it may make you want to get racing sooner.

Northern Monkey 23-10-2010 06:26 PM

OK what time do you guys set up, I’ll come and give you a hand and I’ll bring my vintage shueys with me if anyone wants a look.
