Reevsey 04-09-2007 11:39 AM

I think it could be an interesting year for tracks, the ones i can think of are as follows

Kiddy
Coventry
Oswestry
Stotfold
Eden Park
Eastrax's
Southport
Bury metro
CML raceway

But all of the above may not even put in for a national.

Then there could be others such as Batley/Telford/holbeach???

Who knows..........

ashleyb4 04-09-2007 11:50 AM

I dont think telford has even got a track anymore well we have there transponders.

Northy 04-09-2007 11:53 AM

LMFAO :D :D

super__dan 04-09-2007 03:24 PM

I think it's fair to say Batley won't be ready for a national next year but now we are defo not being moved and we are laying more astro so the surface quality is improved it should return to being as good as it was in the not too distant future.

millzy 04-09-2007 03:31 PM

Shame I allways rated bately as one of the best tracks on the national calender.

Stotfold is for me now the best track we have raced on, But im sure you will all like Lees track, even if he dosnt get a national round the f2 f3 and juniors there would be awsome( and so much better than the moon )

ryan 04-09-2007 03:32 PM

Would hope to see these tracks for the nats,
Stotfold
CML Raceway
Southport
Coventry
Kiddy
Bury Metro

Tivvy outdoor for the F2's and juniors if they will still be combined

Maybe oswestry for the f345's

ashleyb4 04-09-2007 03:33 PM

I hope kiddy donesnt get one i hate kiddy.

Just to give some idea of what the BRCA Committee must consider when choosing the 8/9 venues for the 2008 nationals. I would like to see applications from any club which can prove it has the track, the facilities and personnel to host a National event to the expected standard (ie. as outlined in the BRCA National Contract).
Some 2007 Nationals fell short of this basic requirement so Regional Reps will be asked to justify their nominations with photographic and documentary evidence for untried venues.
For my part I would appreciate applications from:
Stotfold,
Southport,
Kidderminster,
Bury Metro,
Oswestry,
Bately,
York,
Tiverton (outdoor),
Holbeach,
CML Raceway,
Eastrax,
Coventry,
Eden Park Raceway.
Any other new/untried tracks.
The important thing to realise is that there are at least 8 Nationals (including End of Year Finals which are often the proving ground for Clubs who have not hosted a full blown National before) so it is not just the six National Series venues that must be selected.
In this regard it is expected that a nominated venue will be happy to host any event for which they are selected. If this is not the case the event will be awarded to the next highest voted club.
Charlie Fraser.

Was it not Kiddy that you had your Servo reversed on your Tranny?? Maybe that's why you struggled there??

I always used to find Batley one of the harder places, that concrete section i used to just lose so much time on and could never work out why!?

ashleyb4 05-09-2007 09:45 AM

No 2wd was right but then i was running my 4wd round afterwards and i forgot to switch model and i just kept driving.
