nicefrog 25-08-2010 09:08 AM

That reminds me kedal, would you agree it should have every option part PLUS the B fast diff kit :D then it would be perfect

kedal 25-08-2010 09:20 AM

You're so right Nicefrog !
BFast diff is just so perfect !

Woody, 100 pcs world wide, you surely will have one, right ?

The alloy rear hubs and the30' front caster and the motor plate. I did have the carbon T plate but that broke much easier than the plastic 1 I am still running since May.

kedal 25-08-2010 01:16 PM

Great news for you woody !
You arent at the euro bye the way ??

No sorry but that is not in my budget, This Year;)

nicefrog 25-08-2010 03:30 PM

Yep I've not been able to break a T piece either, the current ones are made from such bendy stuff I can't imagine them ever being able to break

Benjab 25-08-2010 06:41 PM

I dont think i get it. Its just a x-pro with upgrades right?

nicefrog 25-08-2010 07:23 PM

Benjab, yeah it's like a collectors edition but also a team edition with all the upgrades and the big bore shocks I think

Benjab 25-08-2010 08:15 PM

Oh okay

You are going to suprised. It is very similar but slightly different but I am going to leave it a suprise.

Benjab 27-08-2010 04:41 PM

Alight haha :)

nicefrog 27-08-2010 04:42 PM

lol Woody are you going to make a build thread because with only 100 being made I don't think any of us will ever see one so we will miss out on the surprise otherwise :)

ben44 27-08-2010 05:33 PM

Did you have the reference of this product for my local shop, because our french distrubutor don't know we will have ands special serie.
I really would like to have here.

I undusdant it"s just the truck for 100 piece, the buguy it's no limit ... (or i wrong)?

kedal 27-08-2010 05:54 PM

After reading another time the blog, my understand is : The full option car, called X2TE (for Team Edition) will be realesed to 100pcs. This full option car is based on the new buggy, the X2... Probably an evolution of the Xpro, maybe just with grey color insteed of the green.

nicefrog 27-08-2010 08:30 PM

Kedal I read it again and I think you are right. But I also looked at the mid motor car which they called the X2c and I can't seen anything different to the original TC02? (except it's mid motor) so I don't know whats the difference with the X2 range. I can only imagine there's been some change to the rear of the car to make it easier to setup or more "setupable"

kedal 27-08-2010 08:46 PM

Yes, you're right... the X2c, C for center ?

Maybe ansmann understand that sell the exact same car, like TQ do in US market, cost less than sell the same car but with another color of shocks, steering etc.

So, maybe the X2 will be the exact same car as SX10 and TC02 and B2X, and maybe we'll see on near futur a X2c, a SX10c, a TC02c and a b2xc...

Answer will come soon, maybe :)

XPro was the first car with all the green bits, small shocks and no alloy hubs or anything.
X2TE is all the alloy upgrades and slightly different steering geometre.
X2c is a mid motor conversion for both of these cars.

Any ideas if they'll do a conversion kit in addition to the complete car?

And any news on when the big bore shocks will be available?

dapanz 28-09-2010 09:32 PM

big bore shocks are available at TCModels with two different sets of springs as well.

If you do want some then let me know and I will get them for you.

Thanks.

ben44 29-09-2010 01:09 PM

Soory i don't speak about the big bore but about the X2 TE.
