Big amount of photo's have to wait untill evening, we don't have serious internet available (only 1 3G stick) so be patient and get back to work or your bosses will get mad at ya ;-).

mikeyscott 23-08-2010 03:49 PM

Looking forward to it.

I police the internet where I work :D

Proxy logs ;) firewall logs etc :D

jimmy 23-08-2010 09:15 PM

We've updated the report from day one - lots more to add from day one but it'll have to wait as it's late and tomorrow is the start of the serious stuff!

Check it!

More rain forecast for today.
Dry tomorrow

mikeyscott 24-08-2010 11:38 AM

Typical - I reckon practice will get canned.

Legacy555 24-08-2010 11:48 AM

Team managers meeting at 3pm local time.
Decision will be made about the rest of the day.
Racing looking unlikely at this stage.

mikeyscott 24-08-2010 11:50 AM

poopers 24-08-2010 03:07 PM

looks like today's been cancelled :(

David Church 24-08-2010 03:51 PM

Yes today has been called off!!! We waited all day and at 5.15 we were told it was a no go!!!

On a positive note we had some fun in the pits, we got up to all sorts of antics:thumbsup:

Mostly throwing things at people, and we have no idea who glued that stuff to the oOple table:confused:

I am sure loads of good pics will be online soon!!!!

nicefrog 24-08-2010 04:16 PM

Whats the point of a offroad buggy if it can't race in the mud, everyone knows the cars can do it, this isn't NASCAR

David Church 24-08-2010 04:24 PM

To be fair, no RC cars could have run on a track in this condition, and if we did run, the track would have torn up very badly by the cars and the marshalls!!! Then when it dries out it would be a nightmare with holes, grooves and footprints everywhere.

But the most important thing is safety, if you were to go to marshall a car, the ground would have given way for sure, the best choice they made was to call it off, just wish they had done it sooner so we could have gone somewhere for the day.

Never mind eh, its only toy cars haha

A beautiful morning here in Austria, nice and warm and only a few light clouds in the sky.

Lets hope the track has dried up nicely and the sun stays out all day and we have team GB on the top steps:thumbsup:
