Considering I got Maths GCSE "A" and A Level "B", I still use Excel to calculate the results :o :eh?: I'll do them tonight, as yesterday became the drive from hell, back from Edinburgh.

resistant materials is either wood work or metal work, however you can use both!

I always called it DT at my place:wtf:

emzy 23-08-2007 06:33 PM

We called it DT AND resistant materials!

Well done guys!! :D

Are you all happy?

LiamD 23-08-2007 06:49 PM

Ooooh GCSE results. I remember getting mine a few years ago.

I got a U in RE and a G in electronics, along with an E in geography. :D

I'm quite suprised I managed to get a G in electronics to be honest.

Maybe if I paid less attention to girls and more attention to coursework I might have actually got good grades, gone to college, started uni.... err... no thanks!!!

Although I will say well done everyone and hope you got the grades you wanted... to those who didn't, it's not the end of the world!

Spencer Mulcahy 23-08-2007 10:32 PM

So its toast holder and bird table making.:)

emzy 23-08-2007 10:48 PM

We made a bird house once.

Another time we made a hand-steady game (the type where you have to guide a loop along a wire)... complete with vacuum-moulded body... it was awesome!

jim76 23-08-2007 11:01 PM

i made a pit box for my main project! And i made countless bits and pieces for my cars during lunchtime!!

ashleyb4 23-08-2007 11:03 PM

I made a shelving unit for my garage.

A

emzy 23-08-2007 11:50 PM

I chose food and made pink heart-shaped curry pasties with mixed herb pastry for my final project... they were lush!

for my ''pottery'':eh?: exam made a man sitting on a bench which my mum still has as pride of place IN the cupboard.
from my year group 12 people went onto further education how times change

millzy 24-08-2007 07:16 AM

and in clay class you made friends

josh_smaxx 24-08-2007 07:17 AM

Erm..... In my school we call it: Resistant materials (wood work); Graphic products (basically making the boxes for the people in wood work) and engineering (which i do). Oh, and engineering is the worst :) We still have to draw colourful pictures of a fire engine :p

yep most of them related to you;) :D

neiloliver 24-08-2007 01:53 PM

"Resistant materials".. who thought of that? probably the noodle that called it "Design and Realisation" in 1988 when I did it. I made a telephone, radio controlled plane.. oh, and a fruit bowl (because i needed three pieces of work and only had 2 weeks left....). I got an A but the plane crashed first flight and the telephone never worked.. the fruit bowl is still going strong though!

Well done Ashley and Kevin from Oswestry RCC
