REGIONAL @ CML RACEWAY
 

Hey all,

we as i said there is a regional at CML raceway this weekend.

its a 2wd event, but any class is welcome. open classes will be run if there is enough people.

if you hjave yet to experience this track, or want to do so again...get your butts down here!!!

should be an awesome day of racing...we may even make trish commentate for added enjoyment.

Should be good, weather's looking very good too so makes it all the more fun.

Lee, reckon FTD qualifying will be run? Just thinking as it's a track that literally doesn't change so should be fine!

FTD... how does that work again. :D it must be a good 4 or 5 years since I've been at a meeting that ran FTD.

Being my local track i plan to give you all a run for your money ! :o

They ran FTD at the Silverstone regional back in June (first regional i did since 2001) Phil so i maybe it was just for my benefit haha :D

ftd or round by round is at the discretion of the race director, based on many factors, including the weather, as well as how much money your willing to offer, money can be substituted with bacon/coffee etc

Yeah should be at some stage, got some crap to sort in the Garden but then i should be able to come over. Just want to make sure everything's still working - car's not been used for a while again :)

Are you going to make it a feature of the track? The profile of the front windscreen and roof would make a good ramp with some dirt built up to it :D

it happened on the way home. didnt get back untill 3.30 AM

but the front passenger side wishbone fell out.

lower one....casue the wheel to try and make love to my feet and facing the wrong way.......

it only happened at about 70mph in the outside lane of the M4.............

couldnt hardly open the passenger door!

if you couldn't open the passenger door does that mean it ended up rolling or just where the wheel was making love to your feet/the side of the car at 70mph? :D :eh?:

What time is booking in/first heat and all that btw? :) Nearly got my car sorted now, just gotta sort batteries and then rob some inserts off of tris tomorrow, or buy some if the race place is gonna be there, apparently snee blues are no longer gonna be coming in to the uk :confused:

Now the front of your xx4.... were you on the middle wishbone hole or inner? I can't quite make it out from the embossed print on my leg!:mad: :p ;) :D
