Worksop 2010
Has anybody got or know where i can find all the dates for worksop winter series 2010? I've looked on BRCA but they only have the dates from 2009 on there, need them pretty quick for work!
Thanks. |
Think the first one is on the 10th of October
|
I thought the first one was around then, i kinda need all of the dates for the full winter series though lol
|

|

|

|
After popping my cherry at oversea's racing at oOple I may have to see about making it to the players this year! :D
|
We put them out on the last meeting of the 2009/2010 series, theyre as follows:
10th October R1 22/23/24 Oct Players Event 14th Nov R2 9th Jan 2011 R3 29th/30th Jan - Provisional BRCA Event 13th Feb R4 27th Feb R5 20th March R6 We also had an extra date for 12th September but i think thats scrapped now.. |
There were some sheets handed out last round with the dates on. I will have a look when I get home later
|
Thanks James  Terry has the sheet and he is nowhere to be found lol
|
Is there any point me booking a Travelodge for the Players now? Is there a chance ill get an entry?
Is it normally over subscribed or am I sure to get in? After the Invernational im hooked :) |

Do it  Reedy style racing so everyone gets to race their heros and we love our big air at Worksop  |

If you book now you could well get a room for £9/night - try Worksop, Retford and Blyth travelodges, even if you don't get in its not the end of the world and you'd probably be able to sell the room . If you send an entry in as soon as it opens and pay straight away you should get in ;) |

Thanks James :)
Any ideas when entries will be opening? (Sorry for all the questions lol) |
No, its always like that..
Its a mix of qualifying and Reedy but we try to mix everybody up.. |

Travelodge is booked :)
|
We stayed in the Blyth Travellodge for the Players Rematch last year, it was OK and £10 a night cheaper than the Worksop one but its on the motorway services so its a little bit isolated with just a Burger King (overpriced and shut when you need it) and a shop which was too expensive to warrant using. I think I'll go for the Worksop one this time tho and save money by booking early.
I think the last players wasn't completely full but I could be wrong. Deffenatly a must do event!! |
Just looked on the travellodge site and the difference between Worksop an Blyth is £31 a night :o. Expensive Burgerking, all is forgiven .
|
I am also interested in the players weekend, question - I only run 2wd do you have to enter 2 & 4wd and does the 2wd run all the 3 days?
Cheers |
Yes it runs the full course, you can just run one class if you want to..
When i say the dates are 3 days its actually practice on the friday night only from 5pm to about 11pm.. So you dont need the extra day off work  |
Oh bollocks..I booked the TL for the Thursday into Friday cos I thought Friday was an early start! LOL
|
We'll be there all day friday if you want to come to the track and help out/loiter.. Usually get pizzas in for the hardworking trackbuilders at lunchtime too ;)
|
Cheers for the info James definately want to be in this one.
Game on. Stuart |
I take it thoses dates are set in stone? I want to book accomodation now but I could do with the reasurance that 1) The dates will be the same and 2) I will get in, before I book the 'lodge
Can I put my entry in now ;) |
