Equalizer wise, smart tray SE from Novak. DOes everything you need from an equalizer and is the cheapest of the ones in the high end of the market currently available.

The Eagle CDC is a brilliant charger/discharger/cycler and runs on both 12v and 240v, i will most likely buy another one when needs must.

Hog 02-08-2007 08:43 AM

I've got an Eagle CDC Ver 6B (blue screen) for sale if your interested! PM me for details.

I use the LRP tray to equalise my cells (LRP 4200 Big Momma's) - no problems and a 1/4 of the price of the Smart Tray too.

Best charger I have had to date is Much-More Cell Master (this is having used ProTrak and Eagle CDC before).

Much More CTX-D is a very good high-end discharger too. If time is not of the essence though one of the cheaper boards with a cutoff works just as well in reality, I use the Robitronic one.

trekkerkk 02-08-2007 09:33 AM

for charging i would recommend the nosram charger, does lipos ni-mh,future proof,
as for discharger i use the much more ctx-d discharger,
does most types off discharge and equalizes at the same time,
used it for the last 12months superb

bigred5765 02-08-2007 10:02 AM

ur joking its only to power the lcd screen

mark christopher 02-08-2007 10:51 AM

spintec icc far better than the rest and you dont have to throw it away like the treinity when/if it fails, and im not sponsored by em

bigred5765 02-08-2007 10:55 AM

why throw it away ??thats may be why trinity changed uk suppliers
and guess what we are lol

gramey 02-08-2007 10:58 AM

:) Havn't used the Much More charger or discharger, had the Eagle CDC 6B (there's now a version 7 out) and others, Spintec ICC currently. Slightly low 10 amp discharge rate but that aside best charger out there.:)

rcracer 02-08-2007 11:12 AM

i was thinking of getting a pro-track and nobody has mentioned them :(

bigred5765 02-08-2007 12:52 PM

we only just got it, so ill keep you up to date, but cant really see it running out quick and not only is it a discharger but a equaliser as well ,its tell you all the info on each cell and the pack in a digital read out,

josh_smaxx 02-08-2007 01:04 PM

nice :)

mark christopher 02-08-2007 01:10 PM

these are good too brought my cells back to life

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...MEWA:IT&ih=020

one problem i have with the trinity one is my cells dont fit in it!! i have em wired for a spintec icc which charges dischargers and eqaulizes each cell (yes does all three to each cell )

the spintec charger discharger is the ultimate but u need a mortgage to buy it. the one in the picture only discharges a pack though not seperate cells

josh_smaxx 02-08-2007 01:20 PM

Ye, the spintec ICC is the most expensive charger i have ever found, £250 off MiM, out of my league at the moment :D

Southwell 02-08-2007 01:21 PM

Not really. But you can call a TurboCharger a charger.:)

josh_smaxx 02-08-2007 04:59 PM

The turbomatcher does charge cells though.

And the tubocharger 35 GFX works out at £211 from them.
