Thursday evening practice in Lucan
 

Hi all,

Looks like we're going to have some nice weather this week.
Anyone interested in a practice night on Thursday?

Plan would be to lay a track just using the kart tyres, so that there is less time setting up and tidying away. Park closes at 9.30 - I could be there at about 17.30

Anyone up for it?

gates close at 7.30 according to the sign yesterday.

i'd def be up for that. although like ian said, the sign still states a 7:30 close time. you can still get into the park, but we'll have to park on the road outside.

aaahhh, yes it's another few weeks before it goes out to 2130hrs.
Also, appears forecast has changed in last 24 hours.
Northernly winds and rain due for later this week :(

I would be up for this any mid week night except Wednesday, but only when park opens to 9.30.

i could make it there for about 6:30-6:45

Too late for me with the park closing at 7.30, I can go earlier if it suits anybody else.

It may be a better idea to leave this until the park stays open later. Looking forward to Sunday though :)

Why bother racing outside in the cold and wet, spend the thursday night travelling up to fivemiletown :P

If you weren't racing on a polished wooden floor I'd consider it. Bumpy grass track wet or not suits me better!

Thursday evening looks good weather wise, I plan to be in the park from 5 onwards, I intend to also be out during the day on friday if anybody is around.

Hi Dan, unfortunately I'm heading to the BRCA on Friday, so under a bit of pressure to get everthing sorted this week. I won't be out. Weather looking good though :)

no bothers, just don't think i can wait a whole week to have another run! too much fun was had yesterday, and there's a slight possibility i won't be around next weekend myself. :thumbdown:
