Southport National

Message from Mat

We still have a few caravan spaces available. All booking information is in the info Pack. People cannot just turn up on the Friday with a caravan without booking in; otherwise we will have to turn them away.
Email [email protected] for further details
I will be on the gate checking the names I have on the list

Please include a copy of your caravan insurance certificate and an email address so I can let you know that payment has been received.

Thanks Mat.

Why? That forecast says rain until the 27th, then clouds / cloudy sun after that?

God, bit of optimism guys!

PaulRotheram 18-07-2007 09:07 PM

it'l be sunny for southport, my prediction this far has been right.. oswestry to piss it down, southport for a hot one.

I said this at the start of the year... it'l happen

Chrislong 18-07-2007 09:24 PM

Yes you did Paul, may have been on MSN but I remember.

Yesterday evening, mum said "wow, look how heavy the rain is", so I went to the window and it was only raining on the left of the house. So I sat down again. A few minutes later I had another look - still exactly the same, then it just stopped while I was stood there.

My dads Fiesta had a wet bonnet and windscreen, bone dry from sunroof back! The shed was soaked, but conservatory bone dry.

Bizarre.

So I predict for Southport, rain on the concrete, hail on the straight, sun on the tarmac and a sandstorm on the back. :D

losixxx 18-07-2007 09:41 PM

what tyres you going to run then chris??:D

emzy 18-07-2007 10:53 PM

Different tyre on each wheel...?!

its a sign of getting old Chris !!!! we raced in all weathers remember years ago ;) ..

Kopite 26-07-2007 03:24 PM

interesting point that, i remember the days of racing at places like Abergavenny (where it always rained) years ago, and just getting on with it. Have we all become a bunch of girls? Or are we just more sensible these days?

Chrislong 26-07-2007 03:32 PM

I think the rain is wetter?

millzy 26-07-2007 04:03 PM

Kopite 26-07-2007 04:25 PM
