Help with petition for a new club in North Dorset

Hi all

I need some help with this, I have had the local town council approach me regarding starting a new 1/10th and 1/8th off road rc club in Gillingham, Dorset and they are very positive about it but need to know levels of interest, so I am asking people to go to my petition and sign it at

http://www.rcoffroad.net/petition

If you could spare a minute please sign it....

The idea is to help locals with a place to race and also get people from outside to come and compete so the track will be hopefully of national standard with some help from friends and members with design.

Done!

I live in Weston-super-Mare, so entirely local, but still be great to see another good quality outdoor track in this bit of the world .

Good luck with it

Even though I don't race 1/10th, I am considering buying one, so I did it too.

Hi all thanks for the support, the meetings will be held at weekends and possibly evening as well, although that is a long way off and land is needed first.

I race 1/18th, and there are quite a few people round this area who race them. We had 11 people at our indoor meeting last Tuesday, and there were still a few people missing!

That's good, talk to us (tiverton rccc) and then we can incopporate 10th regionals when you get the club going.

This is such an amazing opportunity, the council asking for you to have a track!!!! Good job!!!

I went into my local council a few years ago and asked if there was any land avaliable to put a track on and the looked at me as if I was on crack!!!:woot:

I am also wanting to run a cheap stock off road class so beginners dont have to fork out oads of cash to start, I was thinking something like the LRP S10 Blast BX any other suggestions would be helpful but need to keep costs down to get youngsters involved in racing. Also I am working on sponsorship to get maybe 6 of what ever car we decide to run supplied to new people to try the sport. So suggestions would be helpful

Same reaction to land but will be helping set this up with planning and possible funding but to have the town council behind this is worth it's weight

Maybe something like the madrat rtr? They are cheaper and as being a new club the cheaper the better http://www.jespares.com/electric-mod...tegory_id=1150
