Where abouts where they stolen from ( Geographically? i.e Yorkshire e.tc)

KevLee 20-06-2007 10:43 AM

I'm sorry to hear this has happened to you, it happened to me about 12 years ago.

I'm sure you have thought about it already but have you checked your home insurance? I was living with my parents back then and I was lucky in that they had cover for stuff carried in the cars.

Just a thought

not sure if I spotted your stuff today near merryhill, spoke to Mike on the phone

sorry the pic is not good, it was in a car with 3 guys, the one in the back holding a KO vantage, and you can see the team magic bag on the back seat, may not be yours shell had a nosram sticker across the front and I spotted a DC Racing on the side.

Click

just very strange to see a car on a shelf in the day......

Slimboyfat 27-07-2007 05:58 PM

good spot JP!

b4rs 27-07-2007 07:44 PM

bin looking closely at each image, (mr inspector! ;)) and there are a few similarities like tyres, shell, springs. but the one in the back of the car, has a pink antenna tube, if your had a fancy radio setup did it still have a big antenna on it?

best i can get it but im sure others can get it better

JCJC 27-07-2007 07:50 PM

Hope this works, first time added an image......darkened & cropped the rear window, car looks amazingly like the B4 from above, I am sure someone with more skills could pull more from the original.

What do you think.

Chrislong 27-07-2007 07:51 PM

If you ask me they look very similar. I hope this is the start of you retrieving what was stolen. Good luck!

LEGEND 27-07-2007 08:09 PM

I had a little go at changing the brightness and the gama and it came out looking extremely similar if you ask me. I have the image here.

burgie 27-07-2007 08:14 PM

it is "similar" but the orange stripes dont appear to travel across the top of the side "pods"....other than that, hang the bastards ;)

LEGEND 27-07-2007 08:21 PM

Maybe you just can't see them, as the shell does seem to look slightly like either a trinity killer B or a Jconcepts shell because it looks like the sides fold up a little. As-well as the light reflecting off of the shell. If only we could get a clear picture of the car, then we could as you said Burgie " Hang the Bastards.;):) But we all hope that you do get your cars back in the end, as-well as all of your stuff.

ashleyb4 27-07-2007 08:22 PM

It does i think they have stuck a sticker over it so you cant relaly see i

That is your car if you look at the front shocks there is the same smount of spacers in the shocks.

A

josh_smaxx 27-07-2007 08:30 PM

Best i can come up with on the image editing side:

http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p...lenenlaged.jpg

Looks bloody similar if you ask me.

I really dont see the point in stealing this type of thing, ok its worth a considerable amount of money but some on, all we do is mine our own buisness, even struggling to keep clubs open because of members backing out ect, then people go and steal someones everything. just sad IMO.

also dont police chase up leads give em details may be totally inocent but looking at these nobs i doubt it:eh?:

bigred5765 27-07-2007 11:18 PM

re stolen

tried to make image batter using photoshop the blur from the wind screen doesnt help but hey just pass on details to the cops let them sort it if its not urs nothing lost

bald eagle 28-07-2007 09:00 AM

Surely its easier to give the picture to the coppers and let the m trace the owner of the car. Persue it that way. Its gotta be worth a try. After all, if you make a claim on the insurance, your premium will go up next year.

mark christopher 28-07-2007 09:16 AM

even if you have made a claim its worth informing the police who should check it out
