YO32 9WT This is the post code for the Huntington School. I believe that's where the racing takes place.
|
I'm not a local, but I'm 99.9% sure that map isn't for the Huntingdon School. So one of you is mistaken. :o
|
The outdoor regional isn't at Huntington - only the indoor racing is.
Outdoors are held in Wigginton aren't they?! Or you follow a sign for Wigginton at some point? |
The outdoor racing is at Wiggington as shown on the map.

The outdoor Regional is at Wiggington, I'm not sure of the address but will try and get it up.
On another note this Saturday (23rd) we are back racing indoors at Huntington school. |
From me: Is it still the same venue as last year (interference city) or will it be somewhere else in wiggington?
From the missus: Will there be toilet facilities at the venue, which we will have a key to access? |

The one you posted Glenn ;)

Chris - if its the same as usual, there's a set of portacabins that are open for the entire weekend with toilets and sinks in. Separate male and female too... thankfully.
|
It is the same place as previous years. After last years interference fiasco for me, I hope my luck has changed this year!
I advise everyone to fully charge their tranny or bring new duracells! |
What was the problem with interference, is the track huge and they go out of range or is there a metal fence? or power cables under the field?
|
Half the national grid is under the field :D

Not entirely true.. General Rule 10 in the handbook states 10. Radio Equipment The BRCA recognises the UKRCC as the national authority for the UK on radio equipment. The BRCA will work within the rules and guidelines specified by the UKRCC RC. Equipment must be used in accordance with the manufacturers guidelines. Any modification to any component that may affect performance and/or power of original equipments is specifically not allowed. This applies especially to the aerial and power source. Only published frequencies are allowed (see Handbook). The reversal of crystals is not allowedSo if you're changing the power source of the transmitter, you need to check that you don't exceed the operating voltage range, as stated in the manual. |

looks like it's gonna be hot....
|
We'll start worrying about weather when its a couple of days before and we're all standing in 3ft of water.:D
It a bit far away to be thinking about that. Is it similar to what we raced on at the weekend? temporary track? |
Ive decided to pretty much ignore the weatherman as he's usually wrong, for instance today was meant to be raining. Oh wait, no its hot with no clouds
|
I dont mind really, ill just use the same setup as i did at bury, durham and teesside, just change the tyres!!
Its BJ4tastic!!!:D |
Horrible bouncy white things... they hate me...
|
It is a temp track but usually a good one that G puts out.
Just ry and stop Ben making the longest straight in the world like a couple of years ago! ;) |

I like it. |
Hi there, is anybody going down to york for the 4wd event on the saturday, and then coming back down on the evening. As i would quite like to race both on the saturday and sunday but my mum wont let me spend the night. Anyway i have a lift for the 2wd event and i am going down on the morning hopefully, If the dude can get his car fixed to get through it's M.O.T :D , Preferable coming down along the A19 as i only live in ingleby Barwick, which is near yarm which only takes about 5-10 mins to get to my house. This is so i wont be asking as much. If not then i will have to see if my dad can take me down to Batley, if he is home then.
