ashleyb4 22-06-2007 06:12 PM

Meeting Cancelled!!!

BRCA Mid-West Regional – 4WD – Dudley - CANCELLED

Hi All,

Due to the unfortunate weather conditions over the past weeks (or two), the racing and pitting area at the Dudley club are too badly water logged to race tomorrow. We have been monitoring the situation over the past few days, but the thunder showers have only made things worse, and the forecast is for more heavy rain today/tomorrow.

At this time we are in discussions as to a re-scheduled meeting date, and more information will be released in due course.

Many apologises from myself and the Dudley club for this unforeseen problem.

If you know of racers that were planning on attending this meeting, please let them know ASAP.

Many Thanks

Phil Sleigh
BRCA Mid-West Regional Rep.

ashleyb4 23-06-2007 10:20 AM

barnyard 23-06-2007 03:12 PM

not fair i now have to stay home and decorate.

is it me or have we now run out of weekends to be able to fit another resheduled regional into without it occuring after the regional finals?

have we ever had a year this badly disrupted before?
so far the count goes
1x national abandoned
2x regional cancelled

and we're not the only ones suffering in 1/8 rallyX they have also abandoned 1 national and the pendle national tomorrow got cancelled yesterday

I wonder if clubs will change their calanders abit, it seems the weather is changing quite alot, I wonder if we can stay outdoors for longer towards the winter months and come out later as the seasons seem to be changing quite abit.
Its june and its pissing down, alot.

emzy 23-06-2007 09:01 PM

But last year's June was stunning... I remember revising in the sun and frying in exam halls...!
