LEGEND 29-05-2007 01:37 PM

At the moment i don't know anybody who will be camping as they will be going down on the saturday and sunday morning as they all live fairly near to Preston park.

WHITTLER555 29-05-2007 03:25 PM

I think I might be there if we can bring the caravan up on Friday night?

But I've not heard any info on this yet?

Chequered Flag Racing 29-05-2007 03:44 PM

Back in the good old days there used to be camping allowed.

Watch this space I guess.

I'll ask @ the club on Wed night for an update

gazbaz2 29-05-2007 05:52 PM

Hi All
just a little update on camping, at the moment caravans are no problem, we are still in talks with stockton council about camping with tents, me personaly if we can camp (tents) i will, plus a few of us will be camping there and keeping any eye on everything, there is 1 thing i do know and that isNO BBQ'S are allowed, that they are very stricked on, so as Glenn put it, Watch this space, I will be letting everybody know if theres any development on it,

bigred5765 29-05-2007 08:08 PM

I'm a little concerned at the mo as its 144 Miles each way for use to race so I'm hoping camping is allowed as we ain't going to be travelling each day no way

WHITTLER555 29-05-2007 08:16 PM

Will you not take the caravan, Carl:confused:

Carl, believe me I am trying my utmost hardest in getting camping at Preston park as I know that allot of people do, and like myself use a tent, remember we have chose to try and get another regional to benefit every1 because of Teasdale getting vandalized.
All i ask is for every1 to please bare with use, thank you
Gaz

just been looking at the satellite image on google maps....

looks a bit posh.

where's the track going to be then, out the front on the lawn, or on the rough stuff to the left of the house?

emzy 30-05-2007 02:34 PM

There's a big field... near the aviary bit. I think. I haven't been for a good few years!

vader 30-05-2007 02:46 PM

you must mean near 'the crystal dome' thing to the right of the house!!

That big field would be great!!! I think I can see some swings & a slide too.

chrispattinson 30-05-2007 02:52 PM

Yeah, I remember it being near the avery, the geese were spitting at Pack last time I was there.

Doesn't everyone spit at Pack?!

Kriss 30-05-2007 03:16 PM

hahaha yeh he seems to get that response from most people so the geese arnt alone:D and about duncans earlier point - there is know chance of keeping that dirty man away from st hilders unless he's kept on a lead all weekend! hahaha

WHITTLER555 30-05-2007 03:18 PM

So, do we need to book the caravans in?

If so, put me down for Friday and Saturday night if the 2WD event is on??

bigred5765 30-05-2007 04:17 PM

me to

rcracer 30-05-2007 04:30 PM

rcracer 05-06-2007 02:46 PM

if tents are a no no then its a 1 day job or wont be racing that weekend at all as we cant travel there and back both days and deffo cant afford digs for the night, hope we going to find out the score sooner rather than later so we can let who ever we need to know that we aint racing :(

dave p hall 05-06-2007 06:15 PM

will it be confirmed by end of week what the score is:confused: other wise its mad rush to find a b'b somewere:yawn:
