I think the car generates good rear grip as standard so maybe the hubs will help on very low grip surfaces. Or you can take toe-in off the inboard and add it to the outside and this will help on bumpy tracks

Something from the Cougar as I assume there will be cross platform bits?

Steve has these on his Cat, very nice, he got them as his plastic ones were worn out and I think prefers toe in on the hub..

I'll have his car at EPR this weekend if anyone wants a look.

had mine a couple of weeks now. seem to suit team mcp ;)

I just got them yesterday, real pretty. I had set 3.25 tow in, but with these they allow you straighten the arms by one degree and put it in the hub. What I think it does is keep the drive shafts straighter, the wheel base longer and still have the advantage of 3.25 tow in. But then again I'm a novice to this car so what do I know. Here are the pics

There is a meeting this Sunday, last round of the winter series, and as we have a National event there later this year I think there will be loads of great drivers there, either come race or just pop along to have a look:thumbsup:

We have the rear alloy hubs on our car the bearings fit a lot better less play same for the front yokes the alloy ones fit snug less play.

I would love to, really.. But I don't think I can get it past the missus this weekend.

I fitted the hubs yesterday, and a new matching pair of alloys on the front, the handling feels even better than before now.

How durable are the plastic hubs? Waiting to recieve my Cougar and noticed the rear hubs looked a little thin. Wondering how they will hold up.

ive run plastics ever since i have had the car and havent had a breakage in that area in all types of weather. i have been running the alloy rear hubs the last few weeks but only as a tuning option.

I'd been running the kits plastic ones since day dot.. i had heard some people broke the inside hole but i had always run the middle and never a issue.

only just swapped on the alloy purely for the bling and added bonus to remove the 1º toe from the arms.

I Break them all the time, weak parts to me. Just like the b4 ones. I was running the oustide hole and broke it almost everytime I went to the track, event he middle hole I get. SO I am gettn the alum Hubs. I dont think I will ever break antyhing on the rear.

How have people found these after a few meetings, still nice and tight or wearing?

How come Mikey? I was thinking about getting these.

Potential wear issue, however I spoke to Schumacher this morning and will be applying axle grease in them to help.

They are very nice and I prefer them to wishbone toe in.

How do you wear out a aluminium hub that only houses ball bearings?

I took apart the hubs to see what you're all talking about and saw a little anodizing had worn off. I re-installed them with a small amount of thread lock around to lock them in place, I think it should work.
