FORCC Winter Series Round 4

Round 4 this Sunday chaps and chappesses (is that a word?)

Please keep your eyes peeled on here for updates because of the weather - just in case we make a late decision to postpone.

Apart from that - usual rules apply - come and have some fun in the warm and dry

Minster68 08-01-2010 05:19 PM

Forecast isn't great for Sunday, Heavy snow if you believe the BBC. lets hope they have it wrong.. Really looking forward to racing Sunday..

niggs98 08-01-2010 07:12 PM

if my stuff arrives in time, emma and i will be down...... might need to borrow a couple of bits for emma tho ;)

Tractor Boy 08-01-2010 09:32 PM

Hi everybody,

spoke to Dave Crew today and as far as we are concerned it,s go,go,go for sunday as long as we can get there and we will.

we have got the keys to the hall already and we will walk there if thats what it takes and remember if you do make it think of the points you can pick up and what do points make thats it prizes ha ha. The heating has been put on overdrive in the hall so if we do get stuck up there we will be in the warm and dry and if push comes to shove we could always eat each other like that film when we ate each other.

Hope to see as many of you there as poss on sunday you are all very welcome.

Regards Alan,

PS Snow man building competition in the car park, cup of coffee for the winner.

greasy mark 08-01-2010 09:50 PM

eww i dont fancy the menu much lets hope i can get there sunday it only took me 5.5 hours to get off the m20 and home

B&H Racing 08-01-2010 09:53 PM

Who lives closest to the hall to keep us updated ?

Cannot miss another race meeting

Tractor Boy 08-01-2010 10:02 PM

That would be me and Dave as we have moved into the hall at the moment as it saves on the heating indoors, keep an lookout on here mate regards the weather but as i say me and Dave intend to be there come snow or more snow.

rc_penguin 08-01-2010 10:18 PM

There's about a 6 inch blanket covering my road at the moment, plus its a hill onto a hill to get out of it, and to top it off its snowing at the moment, so i doubt i will be able to make it :(

B&H Racing 08-01-2010 10:27 PM

Your nothing like your bloody Oople sign in : RC_Penguin pah !!!! :p

Tractor Boy 08-01-2010 10:33 PM

Team No Idea 08-01-2010 10:34 PM

Tractor Boy 08-01-2010 10:43 PM

Ok mate, he has fallen head over heals in love with the car, hope you can make it on sunday as you are Klyes new best friend and he will be gutted if you can not make it, think it,s cause he does not trust me to help him in the set up of the car mind you i do not trust myself so he has a point.

Team No Idea 08-01-2010 10:53 PM

LOL! i'll do my best mate...
I was gutted to leave early wednesday, i really wanted to stay and see him give it some welly!, still it was pretty bad snow in sandwich and i suppose i couldn't leave the woman stuck at work

Tractor Boy 08-01-2010 11:01 PM

Fair point Martin you can not leave a women alone in the snow, she had to be rescued and you are the man for that job.

Hope you can make it sunday but as you say this rudy snow just keeps falling, snowing like you would not belive at the mo in Faversham.

Hog 08-01-2010 11:22 PM

If I'm not there Sunday it's because I've got stuck in Essex on Saturday night.

Mind you I've had a nice offer of somewhere to stay should I get stuck......:p

Roads around faversham are not to bad if you take it steady, but it,s up to you but we will be there waiting for you with soup, tea and coffee and one of Alan,s big smiles, got to be worth turning up for.

greasy mark 09-01-2010 07:58 PM

will how far from the track are you?

rc_penguin 09-01-2010 08:03 PM

About 10/15 mins the roads are ok, but my road is fairly private and hardly no one goes down it so snows just been piling up onto it lol theres about 9/10 inches now lol. We just cant get the car out of my small little crappy road  Everwhere else has been gritted etc and is ok
