Racing Sunday 13th December 2009

Hi,

Racing planned for this Sunday pending weather.

As before if you haven't raced with us, please provide:

Class / Car / Model
Frequency with prefered
PT Number - If you have one, club does have 4/5 handouts.
BRCA Number - If you are a member

Come on chaps lets get a good couple of meetings in before Christmas. I think we aren't planning on racing on the 27th December

Finally the weather maybe turning back in our favour. Either way keep an eye on it etc.

Cool. Wish that had happened for me, hey ho. Chaps that did mine don't know what smooth means...

So we'll see you on the 20th then for the final meeting of the year? ;)

AlisdairO 08-12-2009 12:27 PM

I'm in - shall see you there :)

mikeyscott 08-12-2009 12:32 PM

Cool.

I'd like to get some O ring seals for the handout transponders so that the water doesn't come through the body shell on to the PTs.

Will be working it out on the day.. Got a ton of tyres to choose from. It's still going to be wet. The standing water isn't going to dry off before the weekend.

There will be no practice running until the track maintenance tasks have been done. Quicker track maintenance is done the quicker practice opens followed by racing.

dibble34 10-12-2009 12:45 PM

What are the tasks Mike

Will depend from week to week, but basically whatever needs doing first needs to be done.

I think some moss needs to be cleared from one of the sections.

super gripper 10-12-2009 08:11 PM

track safety

as you all know I was appointed the club health & safety type person at the club AGM.

I have now got high viz vest for the marshals to wear, although it maybe not a popular thing marshals will now have to wear them.:p

Other clubs I have been to it is a requirement and now our club is going along the BRCA route we shall fall into line.

I will bring then along with me for this Sunday's meeting.

mikeyscott 10-12-2009 08:24 PM

Nice one Lee, just need some cones etc. or something

mikeyscott 12-12-2009 06:05 PM

Everyone ready for a cold mornings racing...?

dibble34 12-12-2009 08:03 PM

yep, can't wait. Been ages since i got a few races in. How we looking on numbers?

mikeyscott 13-12-2009 04:56 PM

Thanks to all those that came today

SteveB 13-12-2009 08:32 PM

Fantastic turn out, excellent meeting, will sort Tannoy and Speaker system hoepfully for next meeting.

Thanks to all who helped cleaning some of the moss from the astrotuf, made for a improved traction.

My Cat SX was on top form today and picked up a 13 laps in the wet, which shows how good the Cat can perform in the wet or dry.

Look forward to next weeks racing. Might try to 2wd and see how the xx can do compared to the SX.

DHB 13-12-2009 08:55 PM

Big head, will get you one day:p

criscrum 13-12-2009 08:58 PM

great morning so good to be racing after missing a few Sundays

mikeyscott 13-12-2009 09:00 PM

Good I hope to racing next week with the changes I've done undone.. Also hopefully with a new head

What was the outcome for people racing on the 27th or will next week be the last of 2009?

jkonline 13-12-2009 09:00 PM

Agreed a very good morning racing.

(An afternoon cleaning the car of all that mud!)
