bury metro regional weekend

hi all,can anybody confirm if we can camp over on the friday night:confused:

super__dan 05-05-2007 11:53 AM

I can't confirm it but we have done that before. I'll most likely stay on the sat night!

NeilD 05-05-2007 11:59 AM

This reminds me to get a new tent.

Northy 05-05-2007 12:02 PM

Are you actually going to turn up to this one then Neil?

G

dave p hall 05-05-2007 12:04 PM

i thought you would have one of those big yankee campers lol:D

NeilD 05-05-2007 12:09 PM

Why G did you miss me at the last one???

LEGEND 05-05-2007 12:37 PM

I'm still waiting to see if i could get a lift of someone. Because my dad is currently in the North Sea and i dont think he will be coming home for at least 3 weeks. :( So if anyone is feeling generous, and would like to help a 14 year old out then that would be terrific. But if not I will probably just sit at home, twidling my thumbs thinking of something to do.;)

matdodd 05-05-2007 05:15 PM

When is the regional?

Stu 05-05-2007 05:24 PM

Middle weekend in May, 19th & 20th.

There should be quite a few drivers competing in the 'non-points' class, for practice on the new track features prior to the national no doubt.

There is also a NW regional meeting there the Sunday after, again feel free to come up.

emzy 05-05-2007 05:45 PM

Stupid exams *sulk*

Always assuming there's enough entry space left!! I think this is gonna be the first busy one of the season:)

Stu 05-05-2007 06:30 PM

True.

I think 'watch this space' should be advised.

I'm hoping there will be some non-region space as I've got a sparkling new XX to run.

PaulRotheram 05-05-2007 08:23 PM

RobHatcliffe 06-05-2007 12:12 AM

I don't think there has ever been a problem with the locals at our place before.

One thing to be aware of, is that as far as I know, we're still waiting for a date for water & toilet facilities to be restored by the council after the fire. Mid May was the last estimate I heard - maybe Roger has been given a more accurate idea by now.

matdodd 06-05-2007 09:27 AM

So who do i need to email to enter & is it 2wd on sat?

footey 06-05-2007 09:32 AM

super__dan 06-05-2007 09:48 AM

This is one of those times where emailing the organisers and not posting on an internet forum is a good idea ;)

LEGEND 07-05-2007 06:27 PM

I am still waiting to see if anybody could give me a lift. I'm not to fussed about 4wd. It is mainly 2wd that i am into at the moment. (But I still like to keep up with my 4wd.) So if anybody could help me out then i would be extremely greatful.:)

Lee 07-05-2007 06:48 PM

Mr LEG-END what does your dad do?

If he is on a platform, the latest he can be home is 21 days from the day he lands on the installation?
Its usually 14days max but you can do 21 days with a special dispensation. but this is the absolute max.;)

LEGEND 07-05-2007 07:47 PM

At the moment he is on a barge, which lays pipes in the sea. He is one of the scanner tech's i think. He has to scan all of the welds made to make sure there wont be any leaks. He is currently working 6weeks on and 3weeks off. But he does this i think he will be a week or 2 to late.:(

Lee 08-05-2007 03:50 PM

Get him out to Khazakstan, 4 on 4 off over there!!

Sounds like your knackered mate:(

jimmy 08-05-2007 03:52 PM

I don't know who asked already, but what happens with non-regional people in the North East? I am north west now, but already have my name down for this and other events - should I cancel and resubmit somehow?

:o

Lee 08-05-2007 03:58 PM

I have another similar query jim, are the "foreigners" mixed in with the ones competing for points, or do they have there own heat and final?

emzy 08-05-2007 04:02 PM

I think they're mixed in for heats but have a separate final. I could be wrong on the heats, but DEFINITELY a separate final.

bigred5765 08-05-2007 04:10 PM

emzeh is right. you end up in?

the

OTHERS FINAL
