If its a long way for you, its even longer for me! Still cant wait for next years Nationals though:thumbsup:

coolcars782 25-11-2009 10:02 PM

It was 10mins for me :wub

David Church 25-11-2009 10:07 PM

It will all be decided very soon:thumbsup:

ben 25-11-2009 10:21 PM

The two i dont want to go to is tally and coventry. The tracks just arent to the standard of some others imo!

GRIFF55 25-11-2009 10:30 PM

But coventry has proven itself at eos finals twice and tally is another uk region whos track will improve with every comment heard.
Silverstone has had an eos final too!

Harper adams baby, all the way for indoor dirt in the uk!!!

EOS finals on silverstones new track? I didnt mention coventry proving itself
Isnt harper adams real expensive to rent the hall?

PaulRotheram 25-11-2009 11:19 PM

Definatly bring tiverton back! i'd not have to think twice about a return to the nationals then! Absolutely loved that track :)

GRIFF55 25-11-2009 11:20 PM

Dont think so, wasn't having a pop and i guess it is. You said discuss!;)
tiverton was an awesome venue! Espcially good for me as the winter meets were great

DCM 25-11-2009 11:37 PM

Used to love the winter series there.... Tivvy

coolcars782 25-11-2009 11:41 PM

Now we gotta have our winter series outside, in the cold, wet and wind.

Do you not remember just how cold that hall used to get???????????????? Crazy fools.

I quite like ben's list actually. A fair spread. Just a shame harper couldnt do a track for us tenth boys, they make such a good effort with the 8th meetings they do.

David Church 26-11-2009 07:32 AM

Whats happened to the Talywain track? Have they built the new track yet? Any pics around if they have?

hywel 26-11-2009 08:28 AM

Weare working on things as we speak no pictures at present
As to Mr jamesoms comment regardind it Not being up to standard ,who made him chairman of the section ? [lol]:p

Richard Lowe 26-11-2009 08:54 AM

It'd be ace to goto Harper Adams if a Neo standard track could be built for our little cars :)

I'd like us to goto the same tracks Ben suggested this year, with the exception of Stotfold - me and that track don't get on

PTRU 26-11-2009 09:36 AM

You can always come down to Proline Dirt Arena,

Not cold (Danny)
one type of tyre Proline hole shot. (do not have to carry 3 diff types)
Hot food and drinks,
Clay surface that holds up.

Most people go home having enjoyed the day.

next race 6th Dec

Lee Martin 26-11-2009 09:46 AM

harper is wayyyyyyyyyyyyy to £££££ to hold a national meeting.

I've not been to PDA, people say it's good but small? What's the external dimensions of the track?

Yeah that’s dose look like a good list, Personally id put Taly in – but I wouldn’t know what track to vote off as I do like them all but have to stay true to my Welsh Club.

Southport would be the only one for me I wouldn’t attend just because it’s so far. But I do like the track and the night life and the club do an amazing job as do all who put on national events.

Who ever do get the votes im sure will put in 110% in to every thing

As we all know from the past what ever gets posted from us drivers will upset one club or another , but as we are the drivers who have to race on the tracks clubs have to accept that some people may not like a track for what ever reason.

ashleyb4 26-11-2009 12:09 PM

I like that list to but ide get rid of stotfold and put tally in Really enoyed tally last year second best result of the year. in both classes.

Smartalec 26-11-2009 01:03 PM

Southport
Eden Park
Oswestry
Kidderminster
Coventry
Robin Hood Raceway

EOS: Silverstone (last chance) and Broxtowe

............or bring back Chesham (grass), Aylesbury (grass), Toddington (grass), in fact ANY grass track LOL
:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Smartalec 26-11-2009 01:06 PM

Is anyone from Silverstone attending the selection meeting?

Reevsey 26-11-2009 01:28 PM

We just need 6 meetings at Stotfold :p i could have my best year yet then

Northy 26-11-2009 01:29 PM

You can only have events at the clubs that apply :p

If they did attend to present their case, they would not be allowed to participate in the selection process. Only Committee members are allowed to vote.

Reevsey 26-11-2009 01:42 PM

My real choice would be

(rather than 6 rounds at Stotfold the best track in the Uk :p)

Southport - Round 2
Oswestry - Round 3
Robin Hood Raceway - Round 1
Stotfold - Round 4
Coventry - Round 6
Eden Park Raceway - Round 5
Talywain - Not for me i am afraid
Kidderminster - Not sure the club have the numbers to run a meeting with out help on the day from racers
Broxtowe - EOS
Silverstone - EOS

Whats your reasons for wanting taly. It being your home track doesnt count lol :p

millzy 26-11-2009 01:53 PM

You know what ,every one says that but its not my home track 3 other welsh regional tracks are just as close to where I live and I attend 2 of them more than I do Taly

But as I am track designer/ Builder then yeah that’s why I’d like the best of the best in the UK to come down and race on it.

like i said i wouldnt know what track id take out as they are all good in my book

ben 26-11-2009 02:01 PM

Rightey, with ya millz
Is the new track in the same place??

timmy121 26-11-2009 02:13 PM

southport
oswestry
rhr
stotfold
kidderminster
coventry

PTRU 26-11-2009 04:48 PM

In answer to your question 5900 sq ft.

Straight is 20m long.

we run 8 car finals.

Yes it would be nice to be a lot larger, (working on that at present).

But it is indoor clay warm with a lot of facilitys.

Sort them doubles out on the back straight before the hill then if you haven't done so.:p

God they was hard to sort out in the 809 series we went to there :(

Blimey, 5900sq ft is not that much smaller than blyth, i had no idea it was that size, i may come down sometime..

RogerM 26-11-2009 05:00 PM

Nationals

Stotfold
Kidderminster
Talywain
Oswestry
Robin Hood Raceway
Eden Park Raceway

In that event order I think for reasons of weather acceptability rather than anything else.

EOS

Coventry
Broxtowe
