I would hate to be in liverpools shoes now, man utd will beat milan tonight and get through, there would be nothing worse for liverpoo than being stuffed by utd in the final.

Well done the scouse jobless massive! Great result, you did foortball a favour and you shut the graceless Jose up. Watched it in a pub with the lads, one of whom is an die hard Toffee. He nearly got our heads stoved in cheering when Kuyts goal was disallowed. (where do all the plastic Liverpool fans appear from?? I was in a Bradford pub and it was like bein back with the rellies in Speke!)

A Man U Liverpool final would be amazing. Prefer Man U to win to save us from all those (almost) witty banners twittering on about how many European Cups the scousers have won. ;)

If I sound a bit bitter its cos I support my hometown team Bradford, newest member of footballs bottom tier. :(

Shame that Kaka has been the only threat for Milan, but one player (no matter how good) can't carry a team all the time, look at Barcelona with Ronaldinho, they've struggled this year without him being at his best.

I think if Vidic or Ferdinand start it will make a big difference, as the 2 goals Kaka scored against Utd were from extremely bad defending so i'm not too worried about their other players. Giladrinho may as well not have been on the pitch - did anyone even notice him get the ball in the first leg at OT?

It'll be a tense game tonight but i think United can do it, and if they do we could be in for one of the best European finals ever. Two premiership teams will make it a spectacle with some good attacking football, especially as United actually attack games rather then just sit back.

I can't wait for tonight, fingers crossed it'll be the right result!

I think Ronaldo's getting there, he's certainly one of the best at the moment - i'd have him in my team over Ronaldinho at this moment in time and i wouldn't have said that last year, not in a million years.

Kopite if ronaldo was in the red shirt of liverpool you would be hailing him as the best player ever, its just the fact that he plays for utd that you dont like, its like the beckham era when he was a stunning player but all the scousers thought he was crap. In reality you would have worshipped him in your shirt.

IF United get to the Final, i don't think Liverpool will have much of a chance personally. They haven't done very well in the last few years, the only big team they seem to do well against is Chelsea :D

We'll see anyway, but i think if Utd get there, they'll win it as they're so hungry this year - the spirit in the team is unquestionable, looking at the games they've come back to win - (Milan and recently Everton) they look really up for it.

The problem for liverpool will be defence, there's not a team in the world that can cope with Ronaldo, Rooney, Scholes, Giggs, Carrick if they're playing well.

I just hope they do it tonight.......

What a load of crap. Ronaldo is hated for reasons everyone knows about (World Cup, diving, constant whinging like a child.....), and he's just massively overrated. I can happily say that Scholes is a genius, and Rooney is world class, it's got nothing to do with whom i support.

No, but history is history and Liverpool are a different team now than when the history was created.. We are in 2007 and its the matches in the current season which will result in a winner.

No one player makes a team, a group of players who play well together make a team and Man United have that - and they have it beyond there selected 11 players.... they didn't have it last season, and may not next either.

Who knows what team orders were for Portugal, but Ronaldo isn't such a diver for United than he was for Portugal. I agree he played off-hand for his country though.
