Stampy chit chat

Stampy... Not that I want to prevent a possible purchase of bearings from a certain someone here...

But why on earth are you enquiring about bearings for the B4 and Madrat? You said just days ago these are up for sale?

stampede vxlboy 08-11-2009 10:22 PM

my son got a new madrat fit for xmas and the wife got a b4 kit for xmas

jhammond 08-11-2009 10:25 PM

Ah...

I see... No worries.

Just try to focus on the XXX4 you purchased now... Honestly: You don't need to buy lots of unnecessary stuff; just take it down to the club and you'll find it's a 'comfy' little car.

Sounds expensive stampy - it's a shame you don't all have the same buggy. Would save a fortune on spares not to mention setup knowledge etc!

No. Why would you want to anyway?

The best of both worlds would be the xxx4 chassis and the xx4 suspension.

Hang on! It's called an x5, built by xfactory!

stampede vxlboy 10-11-2009 09:52 PM

the x5 parts are hard to get hold of

Is this a question? Or statement.

I presume it's a statement; because you've already purchased a xxx4?

stampede vxlboy 10-11-2009 10:06 PM

yes it is mate x5 part are too hard to get hold of them

stox217 11-11-2009 07:30 AM

most x5 parts are losi.
as an x5 is a conversion kit.

Battle_axe 11-11-2009 10:04 AM

sorry to break up the party i started this thread as a setup thread for the madrat\xpro and stampy u have abused it with all your lossi rubbish get an x5 there better then the xx4 done finished

stampede vxlboy 11-11-2009 10:13 AM

sorry but it was other people as well and sorry for this but the xxx4 is ten times better than a madrat mate end of back to the madrat i would buy a better motor than a 9turn is the same as a 10 turn brushed. as its a 380 can size mate get the 6.5 or 5.5turn or 8.5 turn as the 9 turn is slow. i did have 2 of them and i have sold the motors as its a very small motor and nothink like a 9 turn 540can . ezrun 8.5turn combo with a esc that 60amps and the 9turn combo is 35amps go for the bigger size can as you will be dissapointed with the out put power and you cannot use them for racing at all as it sensorless

sparrow.2 11-11-2009 10:30 AM

This thread is supposed to be about shock oil, damper mounting positions, weight distribution etc.

Stampy you are going to no doubt cock up the xxx4 like all your other cars and never race it so please confine your posts to the playground where people can have a laugh. Any car surpasses your driving ability at the moment so you have abolutely no legitimation of spouting opinions as to which car is better than whatever other car.

I for one would be really interested in seeing how people are setting up their Madrats and not having to wade through this rubbish thread only to find that it has been ruined with the usual drivel...

Senseless bullshit

stampede vxlboy 11-11-2009 10:36 AM

back to the madrat you cannot use a sensorless sytem to race with at most clubs

steelie600 11-11-2009 11:56 AM

why not stampy, is sensorless dabgerous or summat? enlighten me

stampede vxlboy 11-11-2009 11:59 AM

its on the brca list only as sensored motor and esc and list for the battery too

steelie600 11-11-2009 12:03 PM

so that will account for NATIONALS only then but what about club level where all the brca rules are NOT adhered to, in the sense of sportsmanship and allowing beginners to race?????

stampede vxlboy 11-11-2009 12:11 PM

it goes on the clubs rules etc i race my mamba castlecombo 5700kv and my 6900kv

sparrow.2 11-11-2009 12:21 PM

More senseless, mind-numbing bullshit...

steelie600 11-11-2009 12:23 PM

So what your saying here is, CATEGORICALLY, that clubs, who rely mainly on getting noobies into the sport, nurturing their talents, and promoting the clubs to all interested parties. Will MILITANTLY turn away anybody who has a motor that doesnt conform to the BRCA rules for the nationals?????

BOG OFF mate yer chattin it again, get yer facts right before you open yer trap. NO and i mean NO self respecting club will ever turn away a noobie just cos theyve got the wrong motor. I race at two of the biggest nitro clubs in the northwest, and not once have they turned anybody away cos theyre not running a .21 in a buggy and a max of a .28 in a truggy, NOT ONCE has anybody been turned away cos theyre fuel tank is too big. It is not in the clubs best interests IS IT!! Sure pursuading the individual after they have decided to run at a particular club to get closer to the rules does go on but as ive said before NO CLUB will turn anybody away just cos theye kit doesnt conform

Are they :confused::confused:???!!!

We are the UK distributor for X-Factory and we have EVERY single part in stock for the car, have done since the day we started bringing it in and will do until the day each part is individually made obsolete. All parts available to order through any of our UK dealers.......

Gotta love comments like that  :bored:

Genius! absolute Leg End!!
you have no money to scrape the exta £25 for a second hand B44, but you are buying 2 new kits for cars that you ALREADY OWN!! What's more you are selling your old versions with all the spares so you will also have to buy new spares!! Add in the fact that no one in their right mind will buy a used car from you and that basically means you will be stumping up full price for 2 new cars!:lol:

Seriously, i beginning to doubt this user is legit. Surely it must be a wind up from the Person who created Borat and Clarkson and the Delmonte man etc?!
Please, come clean and tell me this account is a wind up? :woot:

But love this one even more.

steelie600 11-11-2009 12:59 PM

but they still wont turn away a noobie on his first attempt cos hes got the wrong motor!!! If they do well then its more fool them imo!!!

they are hard for Stampy to get because he is allergic to Google! He also has to request every part number on here because he doesn;t know what a manual is!

showtime 11-11-2009 01:06 PM

Stampy is a total knob end http://rc-drift.com/rc-drift-forum/S...f/whatever.gif
all he does is pollute what has been a great forum with his mindless guff
i know people who have even stopped coming on here because of it
& when you see him as last poster you know not to click on that topic!
he is single handedly ruining this place http://rc-drift.com/rc-drift-forum/S...f/whatever.gif

its like a bad joke that has dragged on way too long

he did say he was leaving a while back, what went wrong there??
i sincerely hope the person who got him to stay is kicking themselves!

steelie600 11-11-2009 01:18 PM

There was a person similar to stampy on a heli forum who got me banned!! so im very cautious in how im dealing with him, but he's still gonna get both barrels when needed. LOL

I agree with everybody else tho stampy, You have lots and lots of enthuiasm, but your posts seem to contradict yourself every single time. May i suggest that you have a few days OFF the forum but read what you have put and try and see from our point of view, about how you come across. You may be a really nice genuine guy, but im sorry to say thats not how you come across. The ball is now in your court to prove to us all otherwise.

c0sie 11-11-2009 01:31 PM

+1 @ Showtime.

I know that we are all about helping the new guy, giving back the help that was given to us all at the start, but you gotta draw a line somewhere.

Stampy is starting to have a bad effect on this place, which sucks as I go on here more than I do my own forum!! lol
