Use swine flu or foot and mouth as a cover story? Or you could tell him you have superglued yourself to the bed and can't make it in without dismantling the frame first, and unfortunately your toolbox is in the garage.

I think he meant he was racing at the time he typed that post, in which case he'll have snapped it & blown the electrics in the rain by now so the track'll be safe tonight.

Dave Dodd 13-11-2009 01:21 PM

:lol::lol::lol: nice one Doc (I wrote this and all i could think off was the big guy off Doc martin)

Is it The Doctor cos you like Doctor Who (Tom Baker so you need a big old scarf) or Doc Martin (which hes completely OCD but bonkers aswell):lol:

2 bloody hours to get home, m1 was still shut!!
brilliant day again tho
cheers all

Spoolio 14-11-2009 10:52 PM

When I pulled up at a row of cones saying "ROAD CLOSED" at the entry slip to J30 on the M1 I was in two minds whether to say "sod that" and just go home again. Glad I took a scenic detour to get down to J29 though.

 to the WBMCC crew. Excellent meeting again, nice to see it's getting more people in. Thought the track was good this time, looked simple but was tricky to nail consistently - the triple in particular looked a doddle but was a bitch to get right, I reckon that marshall point and the one after the crashmat were definately where all the action was. Looking forward to the next one.

antnee 14-11-2009 11:08 PM

I couldn't get the triple right all day!

Sorry if I annoyed anyone with ringing lloyds phone lots (general lee sc10)

deepdale11 15-11-2009 07:28 AM

Yep, round two was another great day, that triple was a BITCH!!.......roll on round round 3!

reg 15-11-2009 01:43 PM

deepdale11 15-11-2009 02:07 PM

Yeah, well done Pat with the superglue, i was shocked it stayed together!!! but it did look like you had trouble with your steering......or was it that you had no sleep and you was falling asleep during the final.......lol.

Garry 15-11-2009 02:46 PM
