Worksop - The Players, The Rematch. Entry form now online.
The Worksop 'Players' returns for the second time this year - the so-called The Players - The Rematch. The entry forms are now online with details of the race format and sponsors. The exciting format was a hit earlier this year with the first incarnation of the 'Players' format - it was such a success the club decided not to wait a whole year and bring this awesome event back at the start of the indoor racing season. http://www.oople.com/rc/photos/misc/news/players2.png PDF version: http://www.oople.com/rc/photos/misc/news/therematch.pdf For more details, check out the Worksop sub-forum on oople.com. http://www.oople.com/rc/photos/misc/...s2sponsors.png For an image version of the entry form, check out James Helliwells announcement thread here: http://www.oople.com/forums/showthread.php?t=32125 |
why is it called "the players"? and why those dises and cards in the publicity??
|
Its just the name we came up with for the first one - the top 32 after qualifying in the first event we held went into their own reedy style racing category and we tried to think of a name for these top drivers - like warriors or titans or the duels something, in the end we came up with players.. The cards and dice just seemed to suit the name as a graphic, i think there were some saucy playing cards given away with the raffle last year too  (unless ben nicked them first)
why are you aka ludo ? |

Ludo De Greef is my real name and sometimes people talk, write about Lowie, sometimes they use Ludo |
We would like to thank some more major sponsors of the Players race :
X-FACTORY TEAM EPIC TRINITY MIP VAMPIRE AZARASHI Look out for some of their great new products and raffle prizes at the event  |
How will raffle work?
|
you buy raffle tickets and hope your raffle ticket is pulled in the draw? :P
|
and price of tickets? need to know how much I'm supposed to spare :D
|
As little or as much as you want to spend!!! we all hope to be as lucky as Leon last year, think he put in £40 and won a new handset and a savage, some £500+ worth of stuff!!!!
|
He bought £120 of tickets... nutter, but it paid off :bored:
most people bought £5 or £10 |
kk I can afford that :D I just don't want anything like Savage
That would be like shot in the foot - I will be very tight on plane weight limit on the way to UK not mentioning way back :bored: |
