Aero Racing - A-One
 

Lee Martin TQ'd and Won the first UK 4WD National at Tiverton this weekend with a brand new car he'd never raced before. The car is the Aero Racing 'A-One'. The Car Lee used is a prototype, but the team intend to release the car in a consumer version for every to buy without all the custom machined parts, instead moulded carbon composite.

Look at the way the car is floating, must be all the bubbles!

yeah, I wa planning on using it for my prototype 2wd car, but never got round to actually registering hehe.

It was great to see these three small manufacturers leading the A main. Aero Racing, Atomic Carbon and XFactory. great stuff.

do we know a price for one of these as it looks smart

Pidge. Few questions for you.
Will the guys from Aero who were with you yesterday, be coming over to all the Nationals or was that a one off.
How easy is the car to work on.
How do you rate it to the other cars you have used.
Did you get to test it before sunday.
Did look like it was dialled to the Tivvy track.

never driven the car on dirt before.....

had a different one for a week testing on my track.

car is very simple to work on!!!!!!

It looks as if aero are going to be at all, if not most of the nats...with help and advise for all people who buy the car....

Pidge, well done on your first national win dude, you drove really well and it wasn't before time. ;)

The Aero Team must be well chuffed of the result you gave them Lee and will certainly help them sell a few more of there cars.
Nice journey home to Belgium for them.

Not sure if we got photos, but they were crazy-happy, hugging lee and each other! haha.. One of the few teams I've seen come to 10th electric racing, and it was nice to see their commitment.

We just want to say that after all the hard work that went into the car and all the other stuff it was great to see Lee perform that way. He never drove it on dirt before and after just 3 minutes of practice to put in a TQ round... you can just say ..wow! All credits to him he did a superb job!

They were probably home before Emily :D

Aero Racing.
When the car is available to buy will there be different kit options available.

I spent Wednesday up at Lee's and watching the "practise" version going round his track was impressive enough. I did two quick laps and could see why he was so impressed with it, and that was on Bald tyres :D

I think when he runs it this Sunday at his "high" grip track it will suprise people even more, the sheer cornering speed and acceleration was just mind blowing.

Didn't get chance to congratulate you Sunday Lee, I didn't want to interupt the the nuptules you seemed to be enjoying with the Team Aeros, LOL. I figured a thumbs up on your way out would be intimate enough for me;)
