End of Season Meeting at West Kent
Steve Andrews has suggested an end of season meeting on his track at Leigh near Tonbridge (Kent) on Sunday October 11th. So that we (and Steve) can determine the amount of support it would receive, can you post here if you are interested in coming along. I suspect it would be along the lines of last year with heats for both 2 and 4WD.
Thanks Brian Mills WKRCC |

Motor limit
Hi Brian I'm still alive , having a go at off road. what is the motor limit 4WD class?.
Hope to see you soon at the West Kent TC winter championships. All the Best Ben Shut That door :p |
Look forward to seeing you there Ben!
|
No limit that I know of Ben - but anyway it's not a BRCA sanctioned event so pretty much anything goes!!

Hi All,
For those who need it, the location is:- behind the Plough Inn , Leigh Road, nr Tonbridge, Kent. TN11 9AJ For those coming from the north (down the A21) leave at the Hildenborough/Weald turn off and follow the B245 towards Hildenborough and Tonbridge. Go past the Volvo dealer in the village, on your left, and down a slight hill. Further down on the left is a pub called the flying Dutchman - turn right opposite this pub and then just keep going. You'll go under a railway bridge and after a while the road bends sharply and narrows down. Take care as this is a bus route! The Plough is on your right hand side. Go right to the end of the car park to find the entrance to Steve's track. The club has a mobile phone which will be on all day. The number is 07790 625278. Hope this helps, Brian Secretary WKRCC |
Just wondering if there are enough trucks to warrant a heat of their own?
|
little Ellis and i are looking forward to it,

Thanks to Steve and Brian from both Tom and Me.
Thought new track layout was really good, just a shame I spent most of my time in the gazebo trying to get old brushed stuff to work, then enjoying final until borrowed brushless speedo blew up!! Expensive day but fun all the same. Much appreciation, T & A |
What a day, and what a laugh, great day racing cheers.
Thanks to west kent crew and Steve |

Thanks for the comments and to all those who turned up to support Steve and the work he has put in on the track.
Same again next year??? Regards Brian WKRCC |
Just to echo what's been said before.
A massive thanks very especially to Steve Andrews (and his family) for the track and all the preparation that went into it, loved the new layout and I think Steve agree's that though there still a problem his starting to win his fight with the rabbits! Also thanks to Brian & Ian for running the meeting, slick and timely as ever, thanks chaps. And thanks for the lap back after my rather unorthodox lap THROUGH Race Control! Those that were there will know that Chris and I had an exceptional day and would like to think that most competitors enjoyed the day and will continue to support Steve, the clubs efforts and some interesting ideas soon and into next year! And to those that didn't make it, you missed a good one, even if we've all now got a bit of cleaning to do! |
Yes it was an excellent day. Particularly liked the truck Steve it looked great fun.

Can't say any more than has already been said really, great day out and great racing !
