hi does anybody know about the orion 70 vortex .it was working for 5 mins and i tried it later on and its not working properly. when i pull the throttle it starts jumping and sounds like its missing the gears and vibrating i tried another esc and that ones fine :thumbdown:

The Vortex 70 is a sensorless ESC... is your brushless motor a sensorless type?

no it is sensored have you checked you sensor wire vxl?
the esc can switch between sensored or sensorless check you have the right mode set

Sensored mode:
Green and Red LED ON – forward and reverse
Orange and Red LED ON – forward only

Sensorless mode:
Green LED ON – forward and reverse

Orange LED ON – forward only

its senseless and sensored as well .it look like the esc gone it was bradnew. it looks like is fuoook:thumbdown: but there nobody that ship them in to the uk no more:drool:

i think its kyosho who distribute in uk now

didnt you just buy the esc with a 5700 kv castle?

i have phoned them. they said there no garuntee as they was not making them no more :drool:

If you bought this new, the retailer who sold you it is legally obliged to provide a one year warranty - the Sale of Goods act and perhaps Distance Selling regulations have you covered. Note, it's the retailer and not the manufacturer who is responsible.

i got it off a guy on here. he had never used it. and got it new but he is never on line. it worked for a 8 mins tryed first time and next time 2 mins :thumbdown::drool:

under european law your entitled to two years check eu law as it superseeds uk law you must quote the eu directive to get this;)

plus i got a bradnew losi combo that sat here . i had 1 before and it burnt everything out in my car and the battery as well . i would use it but i dont like losi sytem:thumbdown:

This guys a legend, a bit like V-mag but without the bumpage. Still cant figure out his age as he claims to have a son (does action men count). But his spelling and grammar resemble something like a 5 year old with a low intelligence. Still its makes for a interesting read, kept me away from watching babe station for the last half hour anyway.
