Have to say this car looks stunning, definitely the nicest looking Kit i've seen in a long time!!

One thing:

Mark Pavidis3rd European Championship, England, 2002

Is that right??? I had no idea! I can't believe he did the Euro's lol

Good luck with it all though Adam, looks an awesome piece of kit! I think from an Engineering point of view the Old Man will be impressed with this, i'll have to show him at the weekend!

No, it's not right ;)

3rd in 2002 was Craig Drescher, though he was driving a Durango - I think that was a Tiverton.

Rocking Donkey 10-07-2009 09:18 AM

It looks great, but it with a flat alloy chassis will never look as good as the fully milled ones on the earlier versions, S500 ect. Shame really

Rocking Donkey 10-07-2009 09:21 AM

This is the Durango I was dreaming of. Does anyone know if they will have a milled chassis as an upgrade?

Thats dying for a .12 screaming engine +tank to be mounted in there !!!! The drive train looks like it could handle it !!!

DaveG28 10-07-2009 12:26 PM

Having built it up, mind saying what space is like in there Adam? Is it low profile servo's only? Will most esc's/receivers go in footprint/height wise?

geerno 10-07-2009 12:53 PM

Good question... keen to know the same thing.

SHY 10-07-2009 01:06 PM

Awesome! You guys don't mess about do you!!!

Any plans for a 2WD?

mikeyscott 10-07-2009 01:22 PM

Hi.
Space is tight but a little bit of thought and I can't really see problems.
In my DEX410 I have a Pearl Evo, KO 2.4Rx, MRT Ptx

As for Servo, it's mounted the opposite way round. so depth of servo is no matter.
I've had both a normal size KO and small KO in there. I've gone with KO2413 as it's what I used in the D4.

I'll post Pics on here later just getting some shots done...

This looks like a very nicely engineered car. Does anybody know the approximate total weight of the car and the front/rear left/right split with an average lipo set-up? Thanks.

mes 11-07-2009 03:16 PM

The assembled car shows the standard Losi-type pin-and-hex wheel setup, but on the Team Durango website you can see a set of four hex adapters. Is it possible to use HB/Kyosho wheels? That would make the car perfect in my opinion! No more wheel stripping!!!

telboy 11-07-2009 06:07 PM

I would have thought that if the HB hexes fit over the shafts, then I can't see why not. May have to watch the width though.

I'm sure Adam will inform us. :)
