BRCA SE 2WD Regional Championship RD3 - Sunday 12 July - FORCC
As the title says, Round 3 (of 4) of the 2009 SE 2WD Regional Off-road Championships. As per usual there will also be an Open class to cater for drivers from outside the SE Region and those wishing to run a 4WD around.
To be held at Faversham Off-Road Car Club off-road facility(check out: http://www.forcc.co.uk/) on Sunday 12 July 2009. Track WILL NOT open until approx. 08:30 for practice so please DO NOT arrive too early! The all grass track, with man-made jumps, is on playing fields to the side of FORCC's normal venue at Boughton Village Hall. There are near neighbours who we do not want upset by excessive early noise, thank you! See you all there, don't forget FREE entry for ALL Juniors, U13's and U16's, trophies for at least the top three in both Junior age groups. Oh and don't forget your BRCA Membership details please, Membership application forms will be available for non-members to join on the day! |
Just to reiterate what Steve has said - please respect the fact we have nearby residential neigbours to consider - so no loud car stereo's first thing please!!
We're praying the weather holds and FORCC will once again be able to offer a technical and fast track to test you all - whichever class you choose to run. And at the end of the day - as much help as possible with the ropes please! They're darn heavy but many hands make light work..... Many thanks, Dave. |

It's a shame you guys can't make it, we all know what a busy summer it is, trying to fit all these meetings in, BUT........that's more points for me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mwhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:
Stu, course you can jump on my genny! |
well,i`ll be there and racing 2wd(with my x6 2^d) as will brett(fingers crossed).
shame so many seem to have other things to do because surely forcc is the best grass track regional in the southeast!!!!;) and hopfully mr.crew can magic up a superb track sunday morning!!!! |
Garry - Everyone has their own reasons as to why they can't always attend.
I would doubt that any of them have anything to do with the track or the club since all the SE regional clubs put on great shows for the attending drivers and from previous experience, FORCC is certainly no different. However, given that Matt is at Ellis's daughter's birthday party, one can assume that E also has the same prior engagement - which has nothing to do with RC. As for me, having been made redundant, I find myself constantly thinking and worrying about losing my freeking house (again, nothing to do with RC) so TBH, the last thing on my mind right now is playing with my toy car, wherever that may be. It's got nothing to do with location, number of meetings or a busy calendar - it simply comes down to individual priorities. |
Hi Garry, I'm honestly gutted not to be going. Love the Faversham track to bits and enjoy every meeting there. Just a few too many date clashes at the moment. Will definitely be back for more soon though!
|
sorry dudes....it was only a tongue in cheek remark honest! no malice intended.
|
Lets hope that this doesn't spoil this fantasic opportunity and start praying that it's passed through before we get there:mad:!
http://www.metcheck.com/V40/UK/FREE/...aversham&day=2 DC - Better start doing your 'thing' just in case! Now where are those TR32's:woot: Chris & I will be there come what may! |
I will ask the man above for some help!!!!! Hahaha
And all those guys say they have something to do so they can't race, but they are just scared of being beat by us!!!!!! Lol!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:p:lol: |

TR32s or the similar looking Tamiya kit tyres are good but the BB Spikes would be best as they are the most available.
I know I wont be there this Sunday but after looking at some of the footage from your indoor meetings, I am seriously tempted to get myself wooped with a stock motor and full spike one evening during the week! |
Where did you see the footage Matt?
|

i had a fun day thanks to all involved |
Very challenging surface today eh guys?
The grass soon went and it was uber slippery. Once again credit to the younger drivers who once again proved that nurturing the up and coming talent is vital to the continued success of the region and the sport in general. |
looks like i missed another good round dam calender clashes ,matt if you fancy coming down and need a set of tyres just pm me
|
Thanks to FORCC!!!!! It was tough as the ground was very hard, but the weather was with us and it's great to see so many people, 40 including 6 juniors!!!!!! Well done!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Congrats to Ian Southwell for winning his first regional!!!!!! |
Cheers DC.
Well done to the club, the track was pretty good, flowing and tricky to get smooth. It was good to see so many close drivers with results that could swing anywhere with one mistake. I think i went from 5th in round to 1st on the last two laps of qually 3! Well done to Trish for getting his times in early, he drove really well. O and thanks to DC for winning round 4 so i didn't go down the 3rd on the grid. ;) |
Cracking days racing. Great track again Mr Crew! Pleased the weather held out for us aswell! Thanks to all at Forcc !!!!!!!! Feeling a bit sore and pink today:cry:
Does anyone know the final standings in the B finals?? i think i got my ass whooped by some faster young 'uns:woot: |

Would hope that qualifying ninth in the B Final would have been good enough for Kyle but to finish THIRD overall, well!:woot: As other have said, good to see an encouraging number of both U13 and U16 Juniors both on the day and involved throughout both Championships! |
Deffo drive of the day from young Kyle.
I know Ollie Crew was very disappointed not to make the A, and he deserved better, but I guess that's racing. Just got pipped on the qualifying ranks. At least I know why I spent most of my day going sideways. 3 wheel drive anyone and a 5.5R motor :D Oh and thanks for my new toy Mr Brooke - it's the sex. |
